The same thing I'd call SBTRKT, Major Lazer, Flying Lotus? When I hear "DJ" I'm thinking DJ Logic, Mix Master Mike, or some other dude up there with turntables making cuts. I don't think a single artist you named (save for DJ Shadow) uses turntables at all. They're all up there pushing buttons just like everyone else.
So your examples of a real DJ is Mix Master Mike and DJ Logic, but you say Bonnaroo has never had a real DJ. Hate to break it to you, but both have been to Bonnaroo in recent years. I will agree Skrillex and all these button pushers are way overhyped for what they actually do.
Okay, let me rephrase. Bonnaroo hasn't had a focus on real DJs in years. Yes, in 2003 they had a ton, and yes, in 2004 they had the X-ecutioners, and 5 or 6 years ago they had guys like Cut Chemist or DJ Shadow, yes, every year they have a few guys spinning in the Silent Disco, but when was the last time a real "DJ" played a tent or a stage in a real slot at Bonnaroo? I'm pretty sure it was 2004 with the X-ecutioners - the rest have been EDM-style button pushing types like Sasha, Digweed, Oakenfold, Tiesto, Girl Talk, PRetty Lights, Bassnectar, etc.
It's the same as if saying that Bonnaroo doesn't focus on jambands. It's true, even if it didn't use to be.

DJ Shadow had a pretty spectacular show in 2007. One of my favorite latenights ever. of any festival.
Why does Phi know your name Juggs, what's going on?!!?!?
My middle name is in fact Timothy, and I often go by Tim as to avoid confusion with my father.
There are some folks around who know me. Not many, but they exist. I mean, you'll all know me after this year's Bonnaroo. Then you'll wish you didn't because I'll show up at your homes expecting snacks.

I actually think we should all start calling each other by first names. Make the place more friendly. I know some of your names (NoD, Karosko, Sang, etc.). We should all be more collegial.

My home has many buttons. Pushing them consumes me. Tools are tools....
I'll see your buttons and raise you... uh... more buttons.
I love it when we get reduced to "button pushers" by someone who has no idea what we actually do, or more than likely someone who actually knows nothing about making music whatsoever.

You indeed have LOTS of buttons (wouldn't know what the quack to do with most). But that little PRS back there is my "true" passion. It's the only button I've ever needed ;D Then again, there's always room for more. You might have just encouraged an afternoon trip to Guitar Center. Gotta spend that tax return on something lol

Oh me too. I just started getting into producing EDM like 3-4 years ago, I've been playing guitar (Sand colored Mexi Baja Telecaster ) since I was 11. It's my true passion. I'd love to make EDM but my real goal is for my band to make it somewhere

Right there with ya man. I actually quit my "rock" band like in 2005 to go on the road for a few years, playing lead for some country dude (Not my cup of tea but the money was awesome). I left that guy a few years back to go to grad school, so I've been out of the whole "band concept" for some time. But the creative juices are constantly flowing. I still go to the studio every once in a while but it's not enough. Lots of music has inspired me since then. I'd really like to see where that inspiration would take me now. I've gotta start making music again. All of this EDM stuff is just an outlet for that creativity, for now.

I always thought Juggs could be Max Tucker. Alas, upon an Internet search, Max's middle name appears to be Tibor.

Do you have a soundcloud or anything? I'd love to hear some stuff you make. Let me know, we'll take this nerd-fest to PM.
