Tune Yards (however she writes it) album "whokill" sounds like I locked a re tarded deaf kid in the basement with a piano, a few pots and pans, and a microphone for an hour or so.

How could a deaf kid have this kind of vocal range.
These guys are my favorite surprise on the lineup (in the sense that I really didn't know about them before I heard they were playing Bonnaroo). No wonder Wilco asked them to open for them on tour. Will not be missing this on the farm.

And? You do realize he has a gig with Black Sabbath in Europe Bonnaroo weekend as well. Most (if not all) of those tour dates are the old Black Sabbath tour dates.
i read somewhere that the black sabbath tour got cancelled. just saying that its a possibility, especially with that 9 day gap when the rest of the shows are pretty much every other day. the remaining sabbath show is the 10th... don't shoot the messenger, just thrown it out there

Turtles are, actually quite sexy, if you think about it. I’m getting an erection just thinking about turtles. No, not a stripper named turtles, that’s not funny. Actual turtles.

I'm admittedly not a big Phish fan but I love the Farmhouse album. Do they generally play much from that?
I've found that with any jam band, you cannot accurately judge their music until you seem them live. I have very rarely enjoyed a jam band's albums but live they are generally amazing. I couldnt stand Panic's albums but my wife was a huge fan and drug me to a show and it was an incredible 3 hours.

It's a problem cause there are better bands out there that could take those upper level spots.
How do you know? You do realize that the promoters do not have a choice between every band in the world? It isnt that easy. If you are making this statement then you do not understand how many logistical, political, and business factors there are to booking talent. Things such as whether or not the promoters have a relationship with the artist manager, agent, or booking agency or whether or not they are currently touring and if they arent touring, are they currently active. A lot of the undercard bands constantly tour because that is how they make a living but bands in those top stops usually take long layoffs and if they arent currently active, it is going to be really difficult to get them out and playing. Even the best musicians have to spend a significant amount of time rehearsing to get back on their game if they havent been playing for a few months. It is probably going to take more money than average to pull them out of a lay-off.
A lot of those bands in those spots you are complaining about are currently touring and a lot of them are going to be in KC the week prior for a single show so they probably share a booking agency.
