Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Forgive me if I'm reposting something we already know. This website claims the announcement will be unveiled with a playlist featuring a song from each band, which is kind of what I figured would happen. I'm still confused though. Where exactly would one find this and how would it be announced? When I open Spotify it immediately goes to the What's New section of the Main Menu. I know I shouldn't worry about it because news of the lineup will spread like wild fire. Just curious.

natedogg: If it is a playlist, I'm sure that Spotify and Bonnaroo will tweet the link to the playlist. Clicking on that link will open up Spotify and bring you directly to the playlist. You can also search playlists using the search bar if you're not on mobile.
Here's a playlist list of bands Bonnaroo created called Running Through 2011's Best:
Adele Beirut Black Keys Body Language Bon Iver Charles Bradley Childish Gambino Cults Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi Decemberists EMA Feist Fleet Foxes Floating Action Florence + the Machine Frank Ocean Gary Clark Jr. Graveyard Iron & Wine J. Oh, if ONLY. If I saw a lineup like that I would lose my mind. IT WOULD BE GONE.
Specifically a lineup that included:
Beirut Black Keys Bon Iver Childish Gambino Decemberists EMA Frank Ocean James Blake Jay-Z & Kanye West John Maus Justice Kendrick Lamar Kurt Vile M83 Penguin Prison Radiohead Shabazz Palaces St. Vincent tUnE-yArDs TV on the Radio Zola Jesus

And I'm sure you already know this, but others not familiar with spotify might not;
If you click on the "Bonnaroos of Yesteryear" link that spotify tweeted yesterday it takes you to the Bonnaroo Staff spotify page. From there you can subscribe to their playlists and add them as a "favorite". So whenever they publish a new playlist you will be notified.
BTW the Bonnaroos of Yesteryear playlist is great. Been listening to it all day.
And I AM A PREMIUM SUBSCRIBER, so I am a very fancy gentleman!

meh. less than half of those bands have a chance of making the lineup
I love Spotify! Also I really like the idea of a curated Spotify playlist for Bonnaroo. ALSO I pay for Spotify Premium too, worth it to be able to stream/scrobble whatever I want off of my phone at work. EXCITEDDDDD

i'd like to note tat spotify isnt a live stream service. you actually hit play on a playlist, so you wouldnt be waiting like that. unless of course they slowly add artists to a playlist throughout the day...
1 song from each artist would take around 6-7 hours to release the full lineup.
Not if they're all on the playlist to begin with.
Pretty sure the 2010 announcement took twice that long anyways.
the line up release of '10 was a disaster. i was a senior in high school, and my cool as shit art teacher let me use the computer all class to keep updated on the line up. then next was guitar class and my teacher didnt care if i went back a couple times to keep checking on the bands. then came math and french when i used a few of my hall passes (we got like 50 a year and i never used them). it was snowing out that day and after school i went to my friends house where we watched them unveil artist after artist..... every. six. minutes. with that fucking coo coo clock
