Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
They're playing Coachella, I see no reason for them not to play Bonnaroo. It's a huge, enormous IF, though. I'd be really surprised if it happened. And very, very happy. I missed them on their "comeback" tour last year (?) when they played in, randomly, Nashville.
For the record, I looked back 5 pages and couldn't find a thread for GY!BE, so if there is one, my apologies.

They're on my list of bands that I don't get my hopes up for because it would hurt too bad when they weren't on the line-up. I am still kicking myself for not seeing them in Nashville last year.
we're already getting Mogwai, a post rock theme would be incredibly cool but probably to much to ask for. Mogwai, Godspeed, Explosions, Jonsi/Sigur Ros?
While I would love GY!BE to be there I just don't think it'll happen. Wish I could've caught them on their tour last year as well, but tickets sold out so damn fast!
Yeah the new album/EP is gorgeous. If we don't get a late night set this year then I think all hope is lost. Perfect timing, and their "reunion" tour is still on-going, almost a year later.
Okay, so I'm listening to this for the first time and a colleague asks me what I'm listening to. I tell her Godspeed You! Black Emperor and she says "What kind of music is this?" How do you classify this? I'm enjoying it but like Sigur Ros and some others I never know what to call it.

Last night was my third time seeing the ensemble. I'd describe their music as a layered tonal drone freak-out. It is difficult to put a finger on, but I love it.
These guys were excellent at Cannery. One of the best shows I've seen in a while. It's definitely one of the best possible late night sets Bonnaroo can get. Make it happen!

I'll never forget my introduction to these guys. In the middle of a Comparative Politics lecture, Professor pulls up a music video and just starts playing it.
it makes perfect sense. italics denote sarcasm. i was saying that inforoo generally, and this thread specifically, are unrealistic. there is no fvcking way bonnaroo would book Godspeed. come the fvck on.
