So close to the canadian border that we all say tou know eh and the biere is none other than blue also so close to VT that the green mts make there presence known equally with whiteface.
I'm hiking the Appalachian trail from georgia to roo. Starting in May at Springer mt. and hiking up to tennesee. Should be about 450 miles and should take me about a month. Anyone want to give me a ride from the trailhead in the NE TN/ Western NC/ Southern GA??? would be willing to split the gas from there to Manchester.

LONG ISLAND, NY 909.65 miles 14 hrs 43 mins such a crappy drive, totally unscenic but whatevs. see yall in 3 months 9 days.
i'm going to be headed to Bonnaroo from LI too. i'm both dreading and anticipating the drive.
done it. it blows. especially the bit thru virginia in the middle of the night. no lights on the road and only trucks. and the occasional other roo travler. which makes for the best part of the drive ;D

long islander here too! 15 hours (909.65 miles)... wow, haha i have to calculate how much gas money i'm gonna need.
My car is supposed to get 30 miles per gallon but I'm guessing it'll probably get about 20 with the car all loaded up (I'm sure it doesn't get 30 when it's empty) . So It'll cost me about 150 each way if gas is around 3.50 (hopefully not). I'm coming from Staten Island. What time/day are all you LI Rooers leaving?
Ohio, Cincinnati in particular seems to be a large contingent of Roosters! Just goes to show you, there are lots of things you can do in Ohio, like pack your bags and visit many places.
coming from indpls ind. not sure how many miles it takes to get there. i just no what direction to head towards and what exit to get off of. it takes about 5 hrs to get there!!
