I can't help but wonder how many of those 47% don't pay into the income tax system because there's not enough jobs, full-time work or well-paying jobs because some dick at a hedge fund decided their job would be better off shipped to China or elsewhere.
Just sayin...
Man I was thinking about you the other day. Walker is in NC campaigning for Pat McCrory who (in a right to work state with about 2 percent union workers) Says he wants to be NC's Scott Walker
So he's running on the "unsubstantiated fear" ticket?
Absolutely. He was the mayor of Charlotte so he sells himself as being Pro Business whatever the hell that means. Unfortunately his opponent is awful, little money and mostly unknown

Well, Charlotte is the secret home to the American big banks, so that's what he's probably talking about.
I personally cant think of a single election held here in the US since I've been alive where one side did'nt dig up dirt or twist what there apponant said . Only have it come out in the end that they are guilty of saying or doing the exact same thing .

Oh hell, it's no secret here it's practically printed on his business cards
oh lord. I'm not a huge Koppel fan but after all the vitriol O'Reilly screams into people's faces - that ending was the best. I hope Stewart destroys O'Reilly in this upcoming debate
My uncle put a Linda McMahon sign on my parents front lawn Sunday night. I come home from work yesterday with a can of green spray paint. Was going to tag the sign with dollar signs, but got caught quickly.

Reminder to everyone that there's a debate tonight.
Tomorrow, Obama is coming to Madison for a rally. My girlfriend & I are excusing her first-grade son from class for this. The campaign changed his schedule from Columbus, Ohio for this. Presumably for the reasons of increasing turnout & voter registrations here, as well as having a large friendly crowd before which to declare a debate victory in Paul Ryan's backyard... though Republicans are quick to claim that he has a "Wisconsin problem."
It is Obama's first visit to Madison since October 2010. Despite his promise to be there with his comfortable shoes on if anyone loses collective bargaining rights and an absence at our uprising against Scott Walker. Should be interesting...
Mitt won by a land slide IMO tonight. He had Obama on the ropes throughout the debate. Mitt was on the attack and Obama seemed just to be taking the punches.
I agree, but so what? It's not like he set out any sort of plan, he just yelled at Obama for 1.5 hours. That's what he's been doing for 6 months. If that strategy was going to win him the election he'd be leading in the polls. This will hurt Obama, but no permanently.

Wow. Obama looked and sounded lost all night. He had no plan, no agenda, no facts, nothing. Romney just kicked the crap out of him. At least Romney offered ideas and wants to try something new instead of treading water. Obama kept going back to the moderator asking to move on because he was beaten senseless. I do not want a beaten man as the president.

Yep. Obama needed to hound for facts because Romney is doing what a challenger should do - pull everything out of his ass and promise the world. Obama did it last election and rode it to the WH. All Romney has to do is promise the world. If Obama lets him get away with platitudes he's done. Make him come up with some factual malarky that will piss ppl off if they dare to understand it.

Romney offered ideas, but he still won't back them up with specifics. He spends plenty of time saying what he WON'T do, without ever getting specific about what he WOULD do.
Lehrer had no control over either of them, and Romney seized the moment. It sucked.
