dammit, where'd you see those shows? There's no way they'd make it from Tampa to nola and both play on sunday and not headline. Especially considering the festival ends earlier on sunday than friday and saturday.

Already got AC tix Postjack.
Voodoo lineup was so sick 07-09......what happened? 2010 was the worst ever, 2011 was alright but the lineup was lacking, and 2012 appears to be weaksauce. If they had just got Manson/Zombie the lineup would have been redeemed.
I miss Voodoo being a heavier festival, not just another watered down garbage fest for the custys.
I'm starting to absolutely hate Rehage. This is ridiculous. Who says "Announcement tomorrow," the "Announcement Today!" and then nothing happens.. If they DO post something, its going to be after dark on a Thursday. Why would they choose to make an announcement this late? If there are any more hardcore fans out there of this festival (which I have to imagine the total of hardcore fans is diminishing year by year) they have to be outraged for waiting all day for this announcement. I didn't even try to check until this afternoon because the festival has all but lost my interest in the past two years, but now here I am, checking repeatedly. Quack that guy and I'm about to say Quack this festival.

He ran us off, which was damn near impossible for any NOLA fest. I made so many disparaging remarks about his promotional skills on the FB that I'm still banned from making comments. He really ruined a good thing.
i appreciate that the schedule is out but this festival is over. hardly anything worth seeing at any given time each day. second year in a row im passing on a festival that is walking distance from my house

Man, so many conflicts!! The Saturday schedule is weird as hell too. 7pm mainstage headliner, unopposed? Are ALL those people supposed to bottleneck at the Le Plur stage for Justice afterwords? They can't all fit. Fri problems: Gary Clark Jr. vs. Die Antwoord. I'm just gonna have to leave GCJr early. Since LOA gets you frontrow at everystage this is actually quite feasible. Skerik/MikeD/GPJ etc vs. Neil Young- Now this is just stupid. I'm not skipping the Superjam, so that will keep me from getting to the very front for Neil. I'm gonna miss all of Pimps of Joytime too. I'm sure they will have a late night show though, probably Howlin' Wolf. 101 Runners>wander around>Gary Clark Jr.>Die Antwoord>Cheick Hamala Diabate>BOOTSY>Superjam>Neil Young (Neil's setlist doesn't get going till the middle anyways)
Saturday- Anders Osborne vs. Alvin Youngblood Hart at 1:30pm!? WTF!! Wayyyy too early. Hopefully he wll have a late night show as well. Will only get to catch a few mins of Alvin. Anders>Alvin>K'naan>Soul Rebels>AWOLNATION>chill out>Dave Stewart>Toots & Maytals> and either Green Day > Justice or leave and go to Madonna>Frenchmen Street.
Sunday- Tomahawk is on the smallest stage, that has the potential to be epic. Also, pretty obvious Mike Patton will be sitting in with Kid Koala now. Looks like I can do Azztravaganza>Borgore>Tomahawk>NAS>Skrillex>Jack White>Kid Koala

While not the greatest fest on paper, there is a lot of potential to rage face with minimal crowds. The LOA pass getting you to the front of every stage is also amazing so you can bounce around without getting stuck in the back. I think they will make a few schedule changes before the fest like Hangout did. I'm hoping they split Gary Clark and Die Antwoord up, and move Anders to a late afternoon spot (dead time for me..). Hopefully they move GreenDay to 8:30pm although I doubt that. I'm def shocked MUTEMATH isn't on this lineup.
Good additions worth checking out: Checik Hamala Diabate Casa Samba w/ Afrika Brass Azztravaganza - if you've never been to a NOLA BoUnCe show this will blow your mind New Leviathan Oriental Fox Trot Orchestra Black Box Revelation- Saw these dudes open for Jane's Addiction in ATL.....they are from Belgium and sound just like the Black Keys.
This is horrible. So disappointed. My highlight is the superjam w/ Mike D., Skerik and GPJ and it looks like I'll probably miss all of NYCH to see Pimps of Joytime (maybe not, but quite possibly.) I can only hope for some badass late night action.
^^ yea the superjam is going to be all James Singleton songs I believe. There was some Maple Leaf super latenight Jazzfest show that did this. I think Johnny V. was the main guy there though?
Pimps were awesome at Allgood this year......def hope to catch a late night with them.
That'd be fantastic. Yeah the email said Johnny V was playing w/ them also, but I dont think the schedule has his name on it. I dont know... We should prob start to get some late night postings within the next week or two. WWOZ.org doesnt have anything lined up on their music calender yet for that weekend.
