I personally find the NOAA to be much more reliable than weather.com
Their forecast for friday: 20% chance of showers, high of 88. If it rains, the temp will probably drop by 10 degrees. The rest of the week, the low is forecasted to be in the high sixties, so it should cool off a little once the sun goes down.

I literally work directly across the street from Tom Lee Park. Blues tent went up last week and today all three main stages are being worked on. Those look to all be facing the same way. Hopefully the new Beale Street Landing doesn't impede the line too much to get in.
I tried to get my dad to hook up some free parking at Budweiser Memphis, but he said that someone as white as myself probably shouldn't walk down EH Crump after dark.
That said, who all is meeting at the south entrance early? I usually park by the north entrance because it's easier to get the fuck outta dodge when its all over, but I might consider making the hike the hang out with some of you alls.

My buddy and I will be using the South Entrance again this year. I swear it's the festivals best kept secrect. Hardly anyone uses it. Plus it's also the artist entrance so sometimes they walk or drive by.

I will be there but will have the kids so I am not sure how much hanging out I will be doing. Also my little brother is the Central PArking manager for Memphis so I will be parked right up next to the gate.
If I were to take a cab to this south entrance, where would I tell my cabbie exactly to take me? quack that line last year at the north entrance.
You should just be able to tell him to take you to the South Entrance and he will know. The website says there are cabstands at either entrances.
I'm not a local so someone correct me if I'm wrong about the street name, but I believe that closest intersecting street is W Georgia and S Riverside. The entrance is just down the hill from W Georgia on Riverside.

Everyone who PMed me should be added to the GroupMe list. Let me know if you aren't getting the texts. Anyone else who wants to get in on that should PM me tonight, I'll be driving tomorrow and won't really be able to check my messages.
My girlfriend and I are staying with a friend in Memphis who isn't going to the festival, so we'll probably be hanging out with him before going in each day. But I'd definitely like to meet up at some shows, and possibly hit Beale after the music ends.
