I met him at brunch in 2010 and kept up with him here and on FB. Someone described him as a 'wook, but a clean cut one', an apt description, I think. Brunch and the Farm will be less lively without him around.

wow...Just heard this news and it saddens me to no end. I met him two years ago and felt an instant bond with him. Started calling him a pirate even. Got to see a few shows with him as well as see him at the brunch.
My sincerest thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

And clearly you aren't a rapist (I hope) but the way you pop into any thread where a woman happens to be lamenting her lack of ride to Bonnaroo and tell them to come hop on your bus sounds extremely rapey.
Very sad. But not completely unexpected. He honestly tried to be as good a person as possible. But he had demons as do we all. I hope it was not his demons that brought him down but no matter what..he brought many smiles to many people and not everyone that is on this earth can say that. Rest peacefully my friend.
Haven't been on Inforoo in a while, but knew of Doug's passing from FB. Just wanted to also say here, in the forum where we all loved him, what a fun and sweet guy Doug was. I'll miss him! I think that me, and Pepper and JHo will take a memorial pic every year at the brunch from now on, just for the RedRum! <3
