So, the husband and I are expecting a tiny human around March 30. We get to find out the gender Oct 17. Woot woot! We're needing some help! The girl name was agreed upon quickly, Piper McKinley (Piper= Pink Floyd's Piper at the Gates of Dawn and McKinley is a throwback to Muddy Water's real name McKinley Morganfield.
We're having trouble with manchild names. The middle name will be Dean after my poppa and having the name Something Dean Moriarty is just cool! We have Cason and Warren on the list now.... Cason really has no meaning to us, just something that sounds cool that everyone seems to like. Also, it is no sac spelled backwards. I like it, but the more I think about it... it's just meh. Warren would be after my Warren Haynes. Mom and some other people said it isn't a "pretty" name and it sounds like an old man, not a baby. I like it though. Patrick is torn between both names.
Which one do y'all like better? Also, shoot some suggestions out if you'd like.

Congrats on the prenancy.
As far as names go, I don't know if I would go with Cason. If you're downgrading it to meh-tastic already, imagine what you are going to think about it in 5 years.

LOL! The best advice I ever got - amazingly - came from my now ex brother-in-law. For a boy, he suggested not naming him anything that wouldn't look good (or fit) on the back of a bowling shirt.
After considered speculation we found that it kind of made sense and we ended up with Nicholas, which could be Nick on the bowling shirt. Fits perfectly! But whatever you decide will be right no matter. Once you see him, you'll just know!

Victor is always a name I've liked. I met someone named Victor in the past year and it is still on my list. Vic would look pretty good on the back of a bowling shirt as well, I think.

Thanky everyone! We're super pumped! Cason is out in my book. Thanks for the advice. Hubby still likes it though. Warren would look good on a bowling shirt, I think;). Do like that rule! I think if we named him Warren Dean Moriarty, we'd call him Dub for a nickname. Even my mom likes that one, lol. Thanks for the suggestions too. I ran Nugjar by Patrick, he says maybe we'll name the one of the fish that.
Sean, Christopher (chris), Steven (Steve or Stevie) and Bryson are also some of my faves...just PLEASE don't pick one of those generic names that could go either way, Sidney/Sydney....Terry, Tracy, Mason etc....those are just burdens to the poor kid!
Make his first name the last name of your favorite president... Think about it...
Jefferson Dean Moriarty Jackson Dean Moriarty Harrison Dean Moriarty Lincoln Dean Moriarty Roosevelt Dean Moriarty Kennedy Dean Moriarty Carter Dean Moriarty Clinton Dean Moriarty
