First trip to RI. I have been to New Hampshire for work once, but other than that, also my first time in the area. First time in the area for fun, thats for sure!!!

Keep thinking I should PM Adam sat night and tell him we have half the mods and many of IRoo's best posters hostage, however I am afraid it might go like this:
So quacker and i went to meet the artist that we were trading for an NFF ticket. Due to some funky events it got put off til sunday, but all good, and it all makes sense in hind sight. His earlier work was in my uninformed art opinion not mature. He's a big music buff and his newer work - reproducing album covers is breath taking, gasp, amazing!! The details in the faces.. like a photo!! Even better! Talking 5 to 10 K worth of amazing.
He works with local musicians and clued us in to some really great things coming up musically. Will share when appropriate!!

Back to the music for a sec. A conflict that is bothering me Sharon Van Etten Vs. First Aid Kit. I am leaning toward Van Etten, but there is still a part of me that is curious how those two women of First Aid Kit sound live.

What about the Deer Tick / Alabama Shakes conflict? I missed the Skakes at roo cause I was waiting in the campgrounds for someone who didnt show until about 15 minutes before the Shakes were over...and I really wanted to see them....BUT....I would really like to see Deer Tick as well!

Roofan, those are the worst conflicts of the weekend, for sure. I'll be at THATH because they are one of my #1s in general, but if things aren't looking too crowded, I will try to catch a few minutes of Gary Clarke Jr. The Shakes/ Deer Tick.. no idea.

My other conflicts are on Sunday: Tune-Yards vs. Of Monsters and Men and Tallest Man on Earth Vs. Punch Brothers. As of now I am leaning toward Tune-Yards and Tallest Man. Any chance the last bands on the stages play a little longer since no one follows them?

I'm thinking Deer Tick will be on stage at the end of Johnny Corndog's set. I'm gonna catch his set then over to Alabama Shakes. Hopefully I can get into some Deer Tick action on Friday or Saturday night too.

This is the worst. 3 bands I REALLY want to see and have never seen before and Tallest Man who I would love to see again. I have no idea what to do for this yet.
