Here's my nerdy confession: so, three years ago I got a new MacBook, and transferred over my massive library. Several weeks ago I noticed that there are a good couple hundred albums in my library that, according to iTunes' "recently played" tab, I haven't listened to. Now, I've listened to everything I own, but what this means is that all this stuff I haven't listened to in at least three years. I decided this was unacceptable, so I did the only sane thing a steveternal does: make a document listing all of these long-ago-heard albums, and work my way through them. It's gonna take several months, but I'm enjoying it so far.
So it's been a few weeks shy of a year, and today I listened to the very last album on this list. 581 unique albums; over 26 days of music. It's done. I feel like Frodo after throwing the ring back into the fires of Mount Doom.
