It really is. I was hesitant on seeing him live though, until I saw him on Letterman and now he's on my must see list at ACL.
He was incredible at FYF yesterday. Dude was insanely drunk, yet so with it and charismatic. The band has the energy to back him up too, not just a flat by the numbers ensemble. I wont miss them the next time they hit LA.
I'll be at the Austin Ventures stage from 3 until Neil Young and Crazy Horse at 8. Father John Misty > Micheal Kiwanuka > Punch Brothers > Steve Earle. I really wish it was RHCP's conflicting with Jack and NYCH closing the fest. I'll be spending Saturday late night at Antone's for Afghan Whigs and Centro-Matic.
