Bad mouthing sweet tea is only going to win you one fan around here.
Not looking for fans, I just really hate iced tea, it doesn't matter if it is sweetened or not, that is some nasty stuff. Yes, true 100% NOLA girl and I don't drink iced tea. Give me coke or give me water, no iced tea!

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I can't say I hate iced tea, but I always found it an odd choice of beverage.
Heating up tea only to spend time cooling it down is kinda like freezing ice cream, waiting for it to melt, then drinking the ice cream soup.

Actually last month I met a man who has also never had coffee or tea. He also listened to a discman. He was an interesting dude, to say the least.
Guy you shared the hotel room with? He just keeps getting cooler.
Yea, him. He was interesting in an "I want to creepily look at you from a distance and mentally note your behavior" type of way, not an "I want to get to know this person" type of way.
And for the record, I do indeed intentionally melt my ice cream to make ice cream soup. I don't melt it completely, but a little soupiness is good, especially when mixed with whipped cream (added post-melting).

I love looking at people creepily from a distance and noting their behavior. It's one of my favorite past times.
And y'all are weird with this melted ice cream nonsense. I mean, it melts as you eat it which is fine. But to intentionally wait for it to melt is crazy. That's valuable ice cream eating time you're missing out on.

Sweet Tea > Unsweetened Tea

Huh? Did not. I am going back to sleep though. Because sleep is awesome. And I'm awesome for finally getting to do it.

And ice cream soup is fucking delicious.
Oh, don't get me wrong - I enjoy the leftover ice cream soup; nice to not have to be done enjoying quite yet. But to melt it all down then drink it, nuh-uh; I don't make roasts just for the gravy.

This man knows how to eat his ice cream! I do the same thing, I let it warm up a little bit. I take my spoon and mix/whip it pretty thoroughly. I guess I usually eat the first half of the bowl normal, giving time for the last half to partially melt.
You can whip some air in it, and it gets really good!
I know you're supposed to let cheeses warm up to room temp for full flavor/aroma. I believe it has something to do with the fats in the cheese being tastier for whatever reason. Perhaps the same thing could be going on with ice cream?
And iced tea can be good, provided it's brewed fresh (none of that Lipton stuff), but just know it is a different beast entirely.
I've made many dining decisions based on whether or not the place has fresh brewed iced tea or not. That stuff is wonderful. We don't do sweet tea down here, save for a few southern or chain places.
My favorite coffee shop will brew any loose leaf tea and flash freeze it for iced tea (that's pretty much why they're my favorite).
