I asked the ban mi guy if the sandwich had fois gras on it, and he looked at me like I had Tourette's.
Slowly turned around and walked away. These are the problems of living in a town with real Vietnamese food.
Now I want pho.
Smart move. The banh mi I had was TERRIBLE. Easily the worst thing I put in my mouth that weekend.
The best stuff I had all weekend was definitely the salami sandwich from Cracked truck, Amish pretzel and donut and--of all things--the chicken on a stick.
Oh and shout out to Pie For The People. I had two or three slices over the weekend and the David Bowie remains the best piece of pizza available at Bonnaroo.

Ok, I'm sitting in front of a "good Shepard Lutheran church" drunk. The cops were "nice enough" to not arrest my drunk ass. I wish I were still at bonnaroo...
Pretty sure I just nodded off at work.... Not for long, but long enough that I know it happened.
I worked in an office for a couple years, mostly solo covering weekend duties. I had about 2.5 hours worth of work to do in about 5 hours timeframe.
Solution: roll out of bed at ungodly time, get to the office, do the mandatory morning report, nap for two hours, wake up and finish the rest of the day's work.

I stopped by the baconland place but crazykittensmile warned me and once I saw people eating there I knew it wasn't that good. I ate at Prater's twice at Roo. The fries with BBQ and liquid cheese, covered with BBQ sauce, hot sauce, and pickles. Way too much food even for two people and only 8 bucks. So good. The Amish doughnuts were perfect as described. I'm glad I finally got to try one...or two.

best or worst job ever?
It was a part time paid internship while I was in college, working on campus in one of the departments. It was only like 10 hours a week at minimum wage, but it was pretty interesting what I was doing.
I might have also once or twice hosted midnight poker games and drank beer while at the office.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Working summer camps for five years in high school & college were some of my fondest memories. And good grief, we got away with anything & everything. Talk about freedom. Those were the good old days.
I think the quinoa bowl I had from Goatacado was my favorite food of the weekend. Their mac and cheese was killer, too. (thanks kdharvey!) Kev got me samosas once but they just weren't Samosaman. Amish pretzels were still great. I never did get a donut this year. I was super disappointed that Eatbox didn't have burritos again even though they were listed on the menu.
i think i ate at least one per day, and i got one with some candles in it as my bday cake from my friends.
i ate at the greek place by That Tent at least 3 times. the kabob plate with rice and greek salad covered in tzatziki was great.

I was very upset about this. Bring back samosaman!
Looking for reccomendations for all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica and The Dominican Republic, also considering Riveria Maya in Mexico. I also welcome other destinations, will be going right before Christmas of this year.
