$50 to anyone who can write at least a C paper for a music history class.
I'll edit it for $10-$15 depending on length.
This is gonna be one of those "type it the night before and not bother editing/proof-reading" kind of deals.
I've got a really bad case of senioritis. Graduation is in less than 3 weeks and I could care less about my final grades at this point, so long as I pass.
I didn't care before, because his use of quoting other people is highly entertaining to me. But now I'm growing more curious.
On a side note, four weeks ago I booked me and my girlfriends trip to the Dominican. Today, about 10 minutes ago, I realized were flying out on Friday December 13th. No wonder the package was so much cheaper for that one day....

My inner nerd loves the idea of the amazon drones and thinks they are the coolest thing ever. My inner paranoid old man thinks they are the devil and will destroy our society.
Samuel Adams pretty much sucks. I bought their holiday sampler 12 pack and none of the six brews have been worthwhile.
This post makes me sad - not because you didn't enjoy the beer, but because it makes me wonder just how many puppies you saw getting mutilated when you were a child.

I used to slightly defend Sam Adams to the bartenders at Gingerman Pub when they called the brewery awful. "It's not that bad", I'd say. Well, all if that is out the door. The Lager is tolerable. The Juniper makes me gag. The rest is subpar attempts at craft brewing. Give me Shiner Cheer over this any day of the week. And, thankfully, I've never seen mutilated puppies.

The only Sam Adams beer I ever really liked was the Cream Stout, but it's damn near impossible to find. I used to go a half hour out of my way to get it in Atlanta.

I will grant you that the Juniper is bad. The winter beers are definitely the worst of their seasonals, and spring is no great shakes either. The autumn ones are their best IMO. Sadly, Shiner was/is a very rare bird up around New England. I never tried the Cheer, but they do make one damn fine bock.
The craft beer trend hasn't fully taken off here yet, which is weird, as it seems like it'd be the perfect market for it - huge hipster contingent, high disposable income, the 6th highest beer consumption per capita. It's about where the US was 8-10 years ago in that sense. I have a couple theories as to why that is.
One is that the tax on beer at an off-license is already pretty ridiculous - ~$20 will get you a 6-pack of a domestic craft beer or a mid-range import. An imported craft beer might be ~$25-30 (and yet somehow good wine is cheaper than in the US, so I'm becoming even more of a wino as of late. Haters gon' hate). Also, a ton of pubs sell their beer at or slightly below cost, as we have the most slot machines per capita in the world. Combined, that doesn't leave bar owners with a lot of incentive to take the risk - although slowly but surely it is changing.

If you haven't already, try that Tazmanian Boag. I hear it is common there, so you probably have. A bit light on flavor, but definitely a pleasant brew.

Boston Lager is reliable. It's not the best out there, but it's consistently quality and readily available. Noble Pils, Latitude 48 IPA, Boston Ale, and Octoberfest are decent. Winter Lager is tolerable. But they do make a lot of weird/subpar beers. The Cranberry Lambic might be one of the worst things I've ever had.

I'd put the Sam Spring beers ahead of Summer. Some of the Summer ones are beyond awful.
Closest I've seen Shiner around here was Port Chester NY. I hadn't heard of it until March, and then was living off the Bock when I was in Texas earlier this year.
I know missed it last year, but damn how did I miss secret Santa this year?! Then I realize that's got to be a good thing for someone, because I would procrastinate and someone would not get their present until after the new year.

I'm guessing that's from James Boag, which is based in Tasmania. I haven't tried that particular variety, but they're a pretty decent brewery. I shall have to keep an eye out for that one. Cheers!
The other beer-brewing James though, James Squire? Now that's my jam! Om nom nom, glug glug glug.

It is the James Boag Lager from Tasmania. I just chose to call it Tazmanian Boag on that occasion.
