It's very strange, therefore I love it. Finished Season 1 last weekend, but haven't been staying awake long enough to successfully get going on Season 2.
I saw something on Facebook, since I have the local NBC station liked - a guy who had hid six kids from the school in his house while the shootings were going down, he's being called frequently by conspiracy loons to "tell the truth" about "what really happened".
Sandy Hook happened on a Friday, one of my cousins bought an AR-15 on the following Monday. And there's a few more guns lying around at his house. For you know, when the blacks and Puerto Ricans stop getting welfare and take it out on whiteys like him. (I wish I wasn't serious about that last part.)

If you really start to lose it go buy a fake ecig at the gas station. I haven't had a real one in 8 days!

This is a great post. Anyone dealing with any addiction who is brave enough to share their attempt to break the addiction should be encouraged, lauded and celebrated. And should they fail, we will still be there to encourage and celebrate when they try again. But I have a good feeling about these two. God bless and good luck to everyone here trying to break a habit.

You go girl!
I was tempted to smoke, so I ran to the store and bought an e-cig. It definitely curbed my appetite for nicotine, but I can't see using this thing on the regular. Hoping it helps me get through cravings, which for some reason this time trying to quit haven't been as bad.
I know one thing for sure, I am DONE with cigarettes. I got in my car and was shocked at how sensitive I am to the smell after just over two days without smelling them.

Im at 133 hours without a cig. I tried a couple months ago with an e-cig but it didnt work plus it never rally got me over the nicotine addiction. Im using Nicorette now and it seems to help with the cravings immensly but its still unbelievable how much of my life was consumed with cigarettes just trying to break the habit part is hard as hell. Im this far in so I cant go back and go through this all over again. Just conquering one hour at a time.
Good luck ladies. I keep telling myself it has to get easier at some point.
Also, Im still wearing my santa hat in my pic and Im not sure Im ready to change it yet.
And clearly you aren't a rapist (I hope) but the way you pop into any thread where a woman happens to be lamenting her lack of ride to Bonnaroo and tell them to come hop on your bus sounds extremely rapey.

I always reach for my phone right when I wake up, not because I have a pressing need but the act or reading something keeps me from going back to sleep.
My alarm clock is about 5 feet from my bed so I'm forced to get up to turn it off, like Dave said.
Downside: when I'm hung over and start flinging shoes, wallet, watches, bedside tables, basically anything I can get my hands on at the alarm clock because I forgot to turn the alarm off Friday night.
