I took my daughter and a couple of her friends skating for her birthday. I discovered that roller skating is kinda like riding a bike in that you never forget how to do it. Thirty minutes on the floor and I was skating like a pro again, even though it's been at least 16 years since I've done it.

I had this idea back in college. I wanted to open up a combination laundromat/bar/restaurant right near campus. Basically a tricked out laundromat with food, TV, beer. I figure it'd make a MINT being right on a college campus. Doing laundry in college sucks, this would make it better.

There's a place that opened up a while ago near where I live now that does just that. I hate them with a passion. I feel like they stole my idea even though that's not possible.

Mine would have been better. I would have called it "Suds."

There was a place on the Knoxville strip called Suds and Buds I believe. It was a combination laundry and bar. Right in the heart of the University of Tennessee campus. It did not stay open long. I could never figure that out. maybe mismanagement? It always seemed like a brilliant idea.
