I was at a high school football game last year and a team had a receiver named Arsenio Hall and a OT with the first name Shaquille.

Well, this was a big kid and would have been born around the time Shaq was rising to fame. I just assumed his parents named him after Big Shaq.

Well, this was a big kid and would have been born around the time Shaq was rising to fame. I just assumed his parents named him after Big Shaq.

...well my mom did the same..

in fact I named him Alex [not: Alexander] -- she literally went, well "I'm going for Shaquille than" and that was that. Me being 8 I didn't really have too much say about it. I think Shaq was still with the Magic at that point

I lived there from 1987 & 1991, & I know there were twins named that while I lived there. My favorite part of the newspaper was reading the baby announcements to see all of the crazy names.

Also while living in MS, I had a good friend named Holly Wood. Here in SC, my college roommate dated a guy named Michael Michael. Not sure what his middle name was.
