Well that was weird. About five minutes ago, I was logged in and refreshed but all of a sudden the like/dislike disappeared and I could see the karma points of people who usually have their karma hidden.
I just spent an hour and a half with a nine-year-old boy helping him flesh out a superhero universe based inside a traveling circus, where they perform by day and use their circus freak powers to fight criminals by night.

So the local top 40 station is currently running a contest where they have a set of 3 songs. When they play these three songs in a row, call in and the 102nd caller wins $10,000. There's just one prize, and they have stressed how it can happen at anytime. I've been listening (shut your judgemental face) because, sadly, the top 40 station is pretty much the best one in Knoxville. I get in the car today at lunch just in time to hear the last 15 seconds of song 1. They then play song #2. At this point, I have my phone out ready to dial because I have decided at this point that it is destiny that I win this $10k. Song #2 ends and... it's time for the time warp lunch. Queue the Van Halen (not song #3). Daaaaaaaaaamn it.

102nd caller? Dear. God.
Having worked in radio a few times, let me tell you how much this sucks, *IF* they actually count each call. Ten bucks & a cider of your choice says they leave the phone off the hook while they go out back for a smoke break, then randomly pick a caller. Not that I know this from personal experience or anything...
