The lady friend's gift is supposed to be delivered to my house today. I know. I ordered it two weeks ago. Etsy stuff has fabrication time though. It's got me all stressed though because it's wet here today and FedEx is delivering it. They have a history of either leaving stuff at the door without knocking or pretending my street doesn't exist, so I have been checking outside every other minute all morning.

Might as well sit on the front porch and wait, maybe yell at kids to get off your lawn to pass the time.

Looking for a case for my phone, and from the way I'm going about it, you would think that it's the most important decision that I am going to make all year and that I'll be locked into it forever once the decision is made.

Not to mention the financial outlay of 7-13 USD. Time to setup an appointment with a financial planner to determine the best path to making this investment in your future.

I mean, if I choose wrong now, how will I ever come up with the cash to pay for another one? If I'm not careful, this phone case will be my doom.

Update: I still haven't decided.
I am so bad about that shit. I just buy whatever and don't replace it until I absolutely have to. I have been needing a new one since Bonnaroo. Not sure what the dust and dirt did to it, but it is gross.

I really like my Otterbox. It's saved my phone's life numerous times. I'm pretty reckless with my phone (I'm a huge klutz). Drop it constantly. I've left it in a puddle during torrential downpours. The Otterbox makes the phone a bit bulky, but worth it IMO.

I should really suck it up and use one because I also am kinda klutzy, but I hated my Otterbox that I had on a previous phone. I didn't like the bulkiness, and I felt like the screen stayed dirtier on it than just the regular screen (I guess I have oily fingers because my phone screens are always icky, but it seemed even worse with my Otterbox).
I think I've determined that I want one of the wallet cases, but I can't seem to find a design that I like enough to commit to.

not to make things more complicated but i've owned wallet cases and hated them. they never have enough space to actually provide enough utility to replace a wallet, and I personally dislike any case with a little flap on it. Cause I like to pull out my phone and quickly look through it while I'm peeing, for example. But everyone's needs are different when it comes to a case. I'm also not prone to drop my phone so I've never needed a case with the kind of protection Otterbox offers.
I always end up with a simple cheap case like a Spigen. On the Nexus 6 really the only reason I have a case is because the sides of the bare phone are unusually slippery. The clear Spigen case provides grip but still shows off the phone and maintains the Motorola dimple.

FedEx can go fuck itself. The package rode around in a truck for delivery until 9pm yesterday then got brought back to the delivery center with no note as to why it wasn't delivered. I just put in a request to drive forty minutes to the center to pick it up myself. Always problems when I get stuff delivered through them. To add insult to injury, the UPS drive through the neighborhood at 6pm last night.

True story: I once drove from NC to Chicago for Christmas. This was in the days before satellite radio, and only the obscenely wealthy had CD players in their cars. The iPhone/iPod was not even a gleam in Steve Jobs' eyes yet. Nor was the Mac, for that matter.
My 1976 Volkswagen Scirocco had a radio that received both AM and FM signals -- state of the art. But, as was the case with road trips, one could only keep a radio station for so long. On this trip, every time I changed the station due to static, the next station was playing "Blue Christmas." I think I heard that song 13 or 14 times during the trip. That "woo ooo ooo" of the background singers was burned into my brain ... maybe even my soul.
I have not been able to listen to that song since. It is a tool of the devil.

Its Tuesday and Friday, so you are probably right.
Ha whoops. I am bad at day recollection when it is the holidays - what is even a day of the week? Why do they matter?
But yeah I would think they might skip tomorrow for sure then since it is Christmas Day.
Or give us an easy/big one since it's Christmas. Most social media posts can be put on a schedule, so you don't even have to be at the computer when they are supposed to post.

But we have to spend all of tomorrow focused on the birth of Bebe Jeezus and all. No room for Roo distractions .
