I'm going through my dads stuff. It's all DC and mostly Superman. Right now I'm looking at boxes from the early 90's. All books have been kept in plastic with a cardboard backing and show no signs of wear on the creases or any bending on the pages or any wilting from water and such. But this is just my amateur eye.
I know most of them aren't worth much. But I'm trying to gage what I would say when walking into a buyer.
There are a few from the 60's that have the same properties.
*note* they weren't stored in a smoke free room, but there's always been a dehumidifier running and they've never seen water damage from floods.
This probably isn't the thread you meant to post this in, but I like the tweet. Some people might find it prickish, but it's not like Miami had anything to do with the call being blown.

Nope. I meant to put it in the college football thread. Still a great tweet though.
The only similarities between Twix and Milky Way are caramel and chocolate. The textures and use of nougat over hard cookie makes them non comparable imho.

Yeah, exactly what I was thinking! WTF guys?
I don't contemplate "nougat." That's not a word I feel comfortable with.

They have 3 ingredients each, two of which are exactly the same. The third ingredient in Twix provides texture and crunch while the third ingredient in Milky Way results in a flaccid and boring chew.

If we're going on the basis that candy that has both chocolate and caramel must be comparable, that opens up a wide playing field. Technically, Twix isn't even a candy bar, it's classified as a cookie bar.
