Bob Moses was great tonight - awesome dynamic together on stage, really into the performance - but DAMN was that a terrible crowd. So much whooping and hollering (like, literal "whoop-whoop's" every ~30 seconds from every corner of the venue), no spacial awareness exhibited by anyyyyyone around me, and super loud talkers, as well.
Delicious Meatball Sub , probably be glad you didn't come; I think this crowd would've annoyed the hell out of you haha. Nonetheless, their performance was great, at least!
WTF Seriously? If the crowd in New Orleans in a few weeks pulls that shit I'm punching some throats. Sorry your first Bob Moses experience was tainted by douchebags.
Agreed. I'm seeing them at the Entry in MPLS next Friday. Crowds up here can be sort of hit or miss sometimes (here's to you, Hot Chip crowd). But people up here are usually pretty quiet for bands like this, especially small bands in small venues. I'll be right up front, so I'm not worried about it. Sorry about that too, Rummy. I'll come to a show with you next time, I'll shut those fuckers up; we'll make it more fun.
Been texting with my 7 year old, telling him to do his chores. I just got this text back.
"I will never join you & your army."
got a text from my mother the other day i opened and read it it said they was suckaz she wanna get me do my chores or whatever picture me giving a damn i said never

Since we are on the subject, next Thursday, Jamie xx, Shamir, and Bob Moses are all playing at different venues at the same time so I have to pick 1. I already have a ticket to Jamie xx but I've seen him twice this tour. Haven't seen Bob Moses or Shamir and both of those tickets I can get from Jukely. Who should I see?
If you've already seen Jamie twice this tour, then go with Bob Moses. I've seen Shamir too, and he was really good, but Bob Moses has the better live show, IMO.
But damn I'm jealous you even have the chance to see Jamie thrice :/ I haven't gotten to catch a show of his even once. He didn't come to the DC area at all with this tour. Makes me very sad.

What was BM's live set up?
Dude on synth/decks. Another dude on guitar/vocals.
I'm at work taking an online training program on IT Security and the importance of creating strong passwords.
The password to enter the company training application is "password".
Only tangentially related to this but I recently started using Lastpass password management software. Its pretty awesome, creates random and complex passwords for all your logins. You use one master password to access all the other passwords, and that one master password can use various multifactor authentication methods. I've just ordered a Yubikey NEO, which is a physical multifactor authentication device that uses either USB or NFC and works with Lastpass. Pretty cool.

Pretty simplistic but still mesmerizing from both visual and audio standpoint. The visual set up is hard to describe...check out my snap story, if you have snapchatttt. There were a few layers of thin almost cotton-looking screens behind them, and it was mainly projection of black and white geometric shapes moving around but that description doesn't do it justice: looked really really fucking cool. Jimmy has this contagiously enthusiastic energy as he plays, and Tom has a very laid back but confident demeanor. They balance each other really well as a duo on stage - you can tell they've been really close friends for a while.
Tom looks like he could be a British rom-com famous actor dude. He has that kinda swag haha.

I'm imagining this whole thing as Dr. Joe and Pops playing in a band together. It's amazing.
The names check out. Tom as confident and laid back checks out. Tom as British rom-com famous actor dude who women can't help but find attractive checks out (what? I added on to that one?).
It's the "Really close friends for a while" and "Jimmy as contagiously enthusiastic" - that would throw the analogy off for me, I think.
