This is my "I've had enough of 52 inches of snow and 5 degrees as a high temp" self talking, but the people who cheer for snow should be sent to Russia (or Alaska, I'll be nice) for a time-out. I could happily live the rest of my life and never see another snowflake. As a matter of fact, we're working on that this year.
It's probably warmer in Alaska than it is much of the east right now.
The big trough giving us the cold and snowstorms, the other side of that wave is a huge ridge over the west. Warmth and dry conditions are leaving California in an epic drought, and there's been days southern Alaska have been in the 50s recently.

Maybe I meant an indefinite time-out And yeah, I agree, I think I would have rather wintered in Alaska this year than in Pittsburgh. Good point.

Yeah, it was in the 80s here yesterday, and have a similar forecast again today, and it will be even warmer tomorrow... It may sound nice, but it's such an odd temperature for February. Way too warm.
Drugs and girls make you do fucked up things in your 20's.
Ah, yes, I can relate. Not on the Alaska part, the drugs and crazy romances part, yes. I moved to Cincinnati for "love" one time, though. That was bad, for me at least.

That story is particularly great. It involves this girl and her roommate (who made me refer to him as Aragorn) and a one-eyed cat named Monchhichi. I'll have to tell you sometime.
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
Goddamnit, Jeter. I knew you were going to be retiring soon, but I am not prepared.
Oh, stop it.
i was listening to Colin Coward this morning (yeah I don't know why either) And he said that Jeters last game at Fenway he'll probably get a bigger ovation than Carl Yastrzemski. Which baffled me. Is that even reasonable ?

Of course not. That's one of the dumbest comments he's ever said.
Jeter will get a Mariano-level applause out of respect. Yaz was a mawfuckin' folk hero in Boston.
Look, we all have our weak moments. For single women in their late 20's/early 30's, it's Valentine's day. For sports fans it's the day you're mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. For gay guys it's the day Beyonce retires from making music.
We all got our thing, today just happens to belong to single women.
