(wtf did I start here?) Colbert might be one of the most in touch people in the media. The best comedians do satire --- and seriously there is gun violence everyday. When is it ever time to talk about the gun culture?? It's not a sacred cow for anyone. Keeping your mouth shut about the US doesn't fix the US
*I respect Fergusen for just saying f it no ones watching, I will do this show how I want. I don't always think he's terribly funny but he has his moments - and is genuine.

Here's another one for you:
Before this year, I haven't been in a post office in a long time. I've had to go 3 times this month.
How is it possible that morning, noon or night at the post office it is me and 400 really, really old people? What do they all do when they're not at the post office?
A full third of every Colbert Report is dedicated to the guest. Out of this week's six guests, none of them are political. All are actors, directors, authors, and singers. That would still leave two-thirds of every show as being political, except that he has a tendency to do stuff like this...
And this...
And this...
They both cover current events, political and otherwise. Simple as that.

My little brother and I had to go collect eggs when we were young. I remember going into the hen house one morning and the chickens were going crazy. We immediately thought the dogs had gotten in. Once inside we saw a possum had one of our two roosters in a teeth neck hold. It backed up in the corner, dropped the bloodly half alive rooster and started hissing at us. We ran like hell. RIP Rooster #2
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I had Bono's BBQ (a staple on the First coast) and they quoted me the wrong price on the phone. They told me it was 20$ and it was actually 30$. I paid the 30$ and asked them "wasn't there some kind of discount code or coupon they could have applied for me since they misquoted my dinner by so much?" The counter girl said she didn't have anything but she would ask her manager (as she was giving me change). He came out like 90 seconds later and said "sorry for the inconvenience, here is a discount for next time of 10$".
Customer for life. Top notch customer service always makes me a repeat customer
