So I get back from DeLuna fest today and I'm having the vacation, live music hangover blues when what arrives in my mail? MMJ tickets to the Port Chester shows! Vfest tickets are on their way too.
It's so quacking funny- you know you have a live music addiction and need help when you return from one festival and already have tickets arriving in the mail that very same day :-) I blame all of you for this addiction, inforoo has caused this, you're all too informative and enthusiastic and lead me into temptations. Bad people. Thank you!
"Here a dog tries to use the Sicilian Defense against a Queen's Pawn Opening."
Stupid Dog! Everyone knows the only acceptable defense against D4 is QGD (1 d4 d5, 2 c4 e6, 3 Nc3 Nf6, 4 Bg5 Be7, 5 Nf3)
From there I used to prefer the Lasker Variant (5...0-0, 6 e3 h6, 7 Bh4 Ne4, 8 Bxe7 Qxe7), but then I got smart and started using the Bondarsky System (5...h6, 6 Bh4 0-0, 7 e3 b6)
Stuck at home today with a horrid sinus infection-thing.
DUDE. my nose is rebelling against me too. I didnt go to workout this morning bc I wouldnt be able to breathe. I hope it doesnt get bad. Im drinking Emergen-Cs like it's my job.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
You do not want to open this can of worms. Dog people are just as nuts as cat people.
An argument with only two choices? I think Inforoo knows how to settle this....
I really do not think you want to do this. The waffles better than pancake thread got heated. This will get downright nasty. Plus, we already know dogs are the far superior option.

1. Garageland has the best stories. 2. Never trust Jay with directions.
Where were you staying? I saw it took you 3 hours to get home? It doesn't take me 3 hours to get from Wall St. to my parents house and they live like 60 miles north of the city.

In Greenpoint.
That was a combo of getting lost with Jay and Garage, waiting on the wrong platform, going the right direction then going the wrong direction to my friend's apartment, then getting a taxi back to my friend's apartment.

Next night was much quicker.
Hah that's what I figured, because even on the sh*tty late-night subway schedule it shouldn't take that long.
Not to step on Jay's toes, but I basically live in the subways for work (take them to all boroughs except Staten Island), so if you guys make another trip to the city and want to know the best subway routes to take just ask.

Nah, just ask me. Chicago's system is way more complicated. I'm sure I have NYCs figured without any problems.

Slept all day because I never heard last night if I would have work today or not. Woke up to find out that my boss sent the schedule out at 8 am (we open at 9). Completely not my fault, but put me in a weird mood for the rest of the day. Now I can't figure out what to write for this essay for my online class and am in a bad mood. I think I'm going to go to bed, forget about today, and hope tomorrow is different.
Edit: just found out my bank account is in the red. Not by much. But still. Holy. shiz. Quack. Today.

Gotta do a drive to Virginia Beach tomorrow and back again Friday morning.
Garageland - what are you doing around 5pm tomorrow in the great city of Richmond? I'm passing through on my driving tour of the entire freaking state of Virginia - meet up for a beer? Or at this rate, I might still be drunk and we could meet for a wine tasting somewhere...

HA! I can do that. There's a great micro-brewery that isn't that hard to get to from the interstate.
