Looking forward to how the Redskin draft picks will shape up. This Ryan Kerrigan kid looks to be a great complement to Orakpo, if they work on the same side i think they can do some damage and greatly improve my defense in the league.
The Cowboys dumping players might benefit the Skins. With Rabach now gone, I'd like my Skins to go after Leonard Davis so we have a guard. While Litchtensteiger shifts to center. Maybe pick up Marion Barber to platoon with Torain. Our QB situation looks bad. We got Grossman or a possible acquisition of Hasselbeck. Either way both will probably have QB ratings that won't get past 80. Realistically, i'm guessing my team to make it 8-8. With our receivers and the secondary needing improvement for next year.
I like our draft pick, not only did he come from my Gators, but he is also a great offensive guard(not a good center ), Mike Pouncey. I think he will add a lot to our running game, because god knows we need help with that, passing game needs some work, but lets start with the basics. We need to be able to run the ball. Bread and butter. If we are 4th and 1. I want to know with Ronnie Brown or Ricky William and Jake Long and now Pouncey, I need to know, I want to know we can get that one yard. Man-on-man, power-vs-power, here we come, up the middle and right down your throat.
Maurkice Pouncey was one of the reasons why Mendenhall had a great year for the Steelers. If his twin, Mike, is anything like him. I'll say you got a good draft choice. Also,Henne needs to stop throwing INTs for y'all.
By the way, you all think Roddy White's claim of the Falcons matching the Ram's"Greatest Show on Turf" is ludicrous? I personally see no contest. Matt Ryan is not a Kurt Warner and Michael Turner is not a Marshall Faulk.
Not "a lineman". THE lineman. Any guy who hangs out in January outside grilling steak and drinking bud heavies in a t-shirt is worth the #1 pick.
Ocho is finished now, btw.
And can Nnamdi please make his F-ing decision? The Jets are being held hostage until he signs somewhere.
Ocho is not finished. In fact his numbers nearly equaled Welker's. Is he an Andre Johnson dominating player? No. But that guy is still a number one receiver for most teams. Besides, people thought Moss was done after the Raiders when he went to the Patriots. He sure proved them wrong.
So Jets are having talks with Nnamdi Asa-whatever. What happened to Cromartie?
Moss was 27 or 28 when the Pats got him. Chad is 33.
Chad had his lowest catch rate of his career last year. I've seen him play the Jets twice in the past two years and to me he's definitely lost a step I'll see him twice next year (maybe three times) and he doesn't worry me in the least.
Basically, the entire market is waiting for Nnamdi to sign. Once he does, the dominoes will probably fall really quickly. Jets are talking to Cro, Chris Carr, Johnathan Joseph and probably Nate Clements since he just got cut. The one thing the Jets front office is fantastic at is covering their bases. They'll get one of those guys to play corner for them, but I'm starting to hope for Nnamdi (I wasn't before, wanted Braylon and Cro both back) because he and Revis would be ridiculous to watch.

Last year, He was a tandem with one of the most egotistical ballhawks ever in TO. Plus, the raw backup receivers didn't really help him find favorable matchups. Not to mention he had more catches and yards than Deion Branch.
I mean I really can't hate on a guy who tried professional bullriding on the PBR this spring when threatened with the lockout.
Cool fact about Mangold. He sure has done an excellent job of replacing Mawae.
When he kept failing the cone drill for the Skins, Mike Golic dressed up in workout gear (cleats included) and ran the cone drill in a time that would have passed the Skins test. And he was something like 47 at the time. Apparently Albert is hated within the league because he really does not care about anyone but himself. He doesn't even care about winning. Maybe the Pats can change that, but up until now he's one of the biggest wastes of talent ever.
Not sure how I feel about these two guys joining the team. Hopefully they can contribute good, and not act like quacking clowns.
Chad actually cares. He won't be a problem, it's Fat Albert I would worry about.
I agree but Fat Albert respects Bellicheck as a coach and he knows they won't put up with the prima donna shit in NE. Not a Pats fan but if there's a team he could play for it might be NE. Plus there's the ring-chance every year. Don't know if he will take advantage of the opp but it might happen.
My Panthers picked up Greg Olsen today. I dont know the complete details of the trade except we are sending a player and a draft pick, but I am happy with this move. Panthers finally have quality tight ends with Shockey and Olsen. This will open up the running game and help Cam out tremendously
I think people need to chill about the Patriots moves today. I'll give them credit for not giving up much, but...the acquisition of Haynesworth or Ochocinco would be considered laughable for most teams, but for some reason the moves are genius when made by the Patriots. I could be wrong, but I just think it's 5 years too late for Ochocinco, and Albert is too fat and happy after his big payday to put forth the proper amount of effort anymore.
I am a Redskins fan, and I have been impressed with the intelligent and restrained moves they have made in the last two days. The quarterback situation is not going to get any better this season, so it probably won't matter anyway, but I do think they are setting themselves up for the future more effectively than they have in over a decade.
I'm jealous of all y'all and your free agent acquisitions. The only roster news in Wisconsin - aside from veterans departing - is about picking up unsigned/undrafted players. That's just Ted Thompson's style. Luckily, I trust him.

Hey, your boys just won a Super Bowl. You can't complain for at least 2 years.

Seahawks acting like they might do something next year, I'm liking their signings. I was hoping my Browns would nab Roy Williams, but that was a good sign for Chicago. I really don't think Albert Haynesworth is going to work out, but Chad should be productive in NE. He is definitely no Randy Moss, but still has some gas left as a no. 2 or 3.

At first thought I wasn't happy about the Ravens releasing Mason & Heap, but it shouldn't have much of an impact. Torry Smith could replace Mason if Houshmanzadeh doesn't get it together. Heap's backups played very well in his absence last year. And I suppose its possible they could both be re-signed. Wasn't very excited about Josh Wilson leaving, but Jimmy Smith might be an upgrade. I would really like to see them make a push to get Umenyiora from the Giants, if he truley wants out. We need a pass rusher, besides Suggs.

So now the Jets and Cowboys are the front runners for Asomugha. I fear he's just using Dallas to bait NY into a better contract. I'd be happy if we could land Cromartie though. We need secondary help bad.
