Looks cool! Not sure if it's necessary for me though. I work a lot, with very little commute, so I never get sick of my music! Plus, there is Pandora and such. I'll check it out though
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I just got on it yesterday and it seems to me what lala would be like with a monthly subscription. The social aspect of it seems pretty standard. I actually think I liked lala better in that regard. Their music selection is top notch. There's no way I'm gonna pay for it till I see iCloud and how that compares.

iCloud is responsible for the death of lala. I haven't forgiven them. I'm joining up with their competitor.
I know. It pissed me off too. But it seems like it's gonna be pretty kick-ass. I have an iPhone so it just makes sense. I don't like the Spotify app at all.

I have an iPhone, iPad, iPod, and a Mac. Not like I am not feeding the beast.

I have a free account (thanks, g-land!), and so far am not enjoying it. I find the interface to be kind of confusing, for instance navigating between what's in my library and what's in the Spotify cloud. I don't see the point of connecting via FB, as all I get is to see what others' playlists are. And, most offensive to me, is the obtrusiveness of the ads. Not only are there sporadic banner ads, not only are there pop-ups, but there are 15-second commercials between every few songs... commercials that will pause if you mute your computer or turn the volume down too low. That just ticks me off.
It still remains another opportunity to listen to music for free, so I'm not giving up, but the "free" version has so many strings attached that it's getting rather tangled.
What's that now? Am I limited on how many times I can play an album?
Still discovering...paid the $5 just to avoid the ads (the LMFAO one did me in) and see if it feels good after a couple months. Thus far, I'm very happy.
I think I figured it out. It goes through facebook? If you wanna follow me Im on facebook(Cody). I would like to see what yall are listening to so connect to my spotify or send me a friend request I guess. If I have this wrong let me know
I am not a fan of the ads. They would be ok if they are advertising something similar to what you re listening to at the time. The Pitbull ad really gets on my nerves the most.
The ads can get annoying but it is better than pandora IMO. I listening to it right now at the pool I work at and the ads havnt been that bad. I'm at CPK12 if anyone cares
I got the premium, I can download stuff to listen offline as long as I'm connected to wi-fi anywhere, it's my favorite thing to do just under hating on planking
