TONIGHT, you should: 1. Be sure you have the most updated version of your web browser 2. Clear your browser’s cache 3. Before you try to get tickets, create an account on our ticketing service’s website: bit.ly/TFlyAccount
TOMORROW: 1. Go to www.facebook.com/virginmobilelive 2. Go to the FreeFest Tix section. You can locate this directly under the profile image and links for “Wall” and “Info” or use this link www.facebook.com/VirginMobileLive?sk=app_174402785926020 3. Most importantly: If you experience any problems with the “FreeFest Tickets” section of our facebook page, go to our Wall and find the most recent status post that includes the link: “CLICK HERE TO GET TICKETS” 4. Do NOT copy and paste any part of the link; it only works if you click directly from our Facebook page. 5. Both the banner & the link will take you to our ticketing service partner, ticketfly.com – follow any purchasing instructions on your screen. 6. If you're still having problems, try restarting your browser and return to step 3.
If you’re getting an error or restricted message, there may be an overload of traffic – keep trying! Start this process over, starting at step 3.
TIPS FOR MOBILE PHONE PURCHASERS: 1. Go to our ticketing seller, bit.ly/TFlyAccount and create your Ticketfly account in advance. 2. Use your mobile web browser -- DO NOT use the Facebook mobile app. 3. Do NOT copy and paste any links we provide, they only work if you click directly from our page.
Got mine this morning. I'm in California at the moment and so set an alarm on my phone to wake me. Woke up at five in the morning all confused thinking I'd missed it. My laptop was dead so walked to the living room to use a desktop. Eventually figured out I hadn't missed it. Tucked my phone into my underwear and went piss. As I pissed my phone fell out and into the toilet and got all goofed. So I had to stay up for two hours to make sure I was up in time for the sale. Masturbated to keep myself awake. Anyway, got two tickets right at ten. A friend of mine goes to Vassar in New York, so I think I'm going to go visit her for a bit and then the two of us will drive down for the fest. It's going to be so fun. Cut Copy and Deadmau5!
So... I just realized the Info section was updated on the website. Says it's going until 10pm this year instead of midnight (I think to clean up in time for the Sunday night show going on there)
And it mentioned paid parking available...makes me wonder if the "free" lot right next to the entrance that I parked at around noon last year is gonna have a fee this time... hmm. I don't remember there being a cost last year, at least. "You can purchase on-site parking tickets." I *do* remember them saying "If you have 4 or more people in your vehicle, you can park in the Main Parking Lot" and I still got in just fine with 2 total.
