The ticket prices expected on this upcoming Stones tour are the absolute highest I've ever seen. Even if the cheaper seats are a 100+fees, I don't see how they can justify this. It's really disappointing that the Stones really seem that locked up in getting the highest offer.
We saw Paul for 80 a ticket, good seats!, and he offered them through his website/ticketing company out of London. No fees either! He said that he was doing this to avoid the higher ticketing costs here in the States- we'd just have to wait til a couple of weeks before the show for our tickets to arrive, big deal. He talked about giving the average fan the ability to see his show. The Stones don't seem to give a quack and that's sad.

Seen them in Philly a month or 2 ago and their was no opener just pure kick@$$ rock and roll. Gonna miss them at the MMRBQ because my girlfriend graduates that day. But it dosnt matter cuz (I'm secretly so pissed off) shes worked so hard (damnit Alice in Chains is gonna be there!) for her college education the least I could do is be there (I never missed an MMRBQ :/ )to see her walk.

Alot of thumbs down on the new album around here but i for one love it. Incorp it into a setlist of fan favorites that have stuck out for a decade even when the band wasnt even technically together and its one action packed setlist. The tower theater is an inside venue which worked wonders because their lightshow was fantastic and i dont think it would have the same affect if the lights couldnt touch a ceiling. Also they shook the rust off since I seen them when they just had the reunion tour and they sounded way more cohesive as a band. 4/5 you dont wanna miss it.

Judging by there setlist in January and February, the only songs they wasn't playing that I would want to hear is Mind Riot and The Day I Tried to Live. Either way, I am excited.

I don't know if any of you have heard of The Protomen, but they are so worth checking out. They are a Nashville based band that started out as a last minute project for school where they had to write a piece of music. They ended up basing it off of MegaMan. It's blown up and now they do epic rock opera shows complete with theatrics. It's so very awesome live
I believe they played Roo a couple years ago on the Sonic Stage.

On May 2, the Red Bull Music Academy will turn the spectacular Knockdown Center into a temple of thundering noise with some of today's most daring sound artists for Drone Activity In Progress. The night will see performances from sixteen solo artists and duos on three stages, where the sound bleed between stages is entirely intentional.
Joining Chardiet will be performances from Stephen O'Malley, KTL (Stephen O'Malley & Peter Rehberg), Body/Head (Kim Gordon & Bill Nace), Prurient, Hunter Hunt-Hendrix of Liturgy, Oren Ambrachi, Alan Licht, Vatican Shadow, Pete Swanson, Mick Barr, Kid Millions/Jim Sauter Duo, Alberich, Noveller, grassmass and Hiram Martinez, and $8 tickets for the show, which is one night after the big "Round Robin Duet" show at Brooklyn Masonic Temple, are on sale and will include shuttle bus service from the Jefferson L train.
