Passion Pit is headlining a show at MSG? How did this happen? I like the band and all but how did they reach this level already?
I like them too, but was surprised to see this as well. And its not like Matt & Kim are a huge act to impact a heavy increase in sales. I hope I am underestimating their draw and they dont end up playing to a half full arena.
It took a band like the Black Keys almost 10 years and 7 albums to headline a show at MSG.

Yet it is in this loneliness that the deepest activities begin. It is here that you discover act without motion, labor that is profound repose, vision in obscurity, and, beyond all desire, a fulfillment whose limits extend to infinity.

And clearly you aren't a rapist (I hope) but the way you pop into any thread where a woman happens to be lamenting her lack of ride to Bonnaroo and tell them to come hop on your bus sounds extremely rapey.
Ack! I forgot about this show! I made my friend listen to them and she said she'd be interested in going... then we forgotedededed. That was a major fail on my part.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Oh. I knew those cities weren't around me, so I didn't check the dates too closely. Still a chance for those of you around Royal Oak and Chicago to make it.

Going to the Govt Mule Halloween show tonight!
A couple posts up with Toro y Moi, the opener Wild Belle is pretty good. I saw them last year at Chicago's Tomorrow Knows "festival" where they highlight up and coming bands, and I definitely think these guys have some potential.
