Red Mountain Entertainment (which promotes most of the big shows in Birmingham) tweeted that they had a big concert announcement tomorrow which would be huge and unbelieveable. Do you guys know of anyone big planning a tour that hasn't been announced yet for this year? Red Mountain Entertainment (which promotes most of the big shows in Birmingham) tweeted that they had a big concert announcement tomorrow which would be huge and unbelieveable. We don't usually get too many of the huge acts so I have been trying to figure out who it might be. I'm fully prepared for an Aerosmith or Nickelback announcement.
It turned out to be Robert Plant at our tiny Alabama Theater (2,000 seats) on August 12th. Should be a pretty good show.
Im gonna wait to see if David Byrne headlines Moog before snaggin Ryman tickets. Which im 99% sure he will. How much Talking Heads does he incorporate into his live shows?

He'll be added to Voodoo before Moog. There has to be a good reason he's skipping NOLA in between those ATL and Austin dates. I would go to the Ryman show regardless if I didn't have to burn two vacation days to do it.

I'm just not cool with $25. $18/20, I would have been all over it. With fees its gonna be like $30. I just don't know if its worth it after seeing both bands by then.

JEFF the Brotherhood is playing tomorrow in philly and the ticket is 14 dollars (thats with fees included) are they good live? theyre playing in a church basement

Dave are you one of those guys who rush the stage at Morrissey concerts?
Because I really want you to be.
No but a guy with my build but several inches shorter totally did rush the stage at the show I went to. He got to hug Morrissey before security hugged him in a much more emphatic manner. Also, I didn't know I was supposed to bring Morrissey a present at the show. A bunch of people brought him things and either tossed or placed them on the stage during the show. After long deliberation, I declared that f*cking weird.
