Sorry to QUAD post but I'm high on Radiohead so quack y'all

Have to say, the set I saw tonight, just in terms of pure setlist comparison, as well as the fact that me and Thom made eye contact several times, slayed Roos. Still had a quacking blast at all of them, though. But Like Spinning Plates/Lucky just sends it out of the park for me. I was doubly excited at Paranoid Androids location in the main set, where it belongs. It just hypes everyone up too much for an encore, when you're supposed to be kind of bringing everyone down to the end of the show.
Oh hey, Thom.

It was fantastic. So different, pacing wise, from the other two sets I saw this tour. It was really really nice and refreshing because I was, while totally pumped, really really hoping that they shook the setlist up, and they really really did.
Also, something kind of neat happened tonight. When I arrived at will call, I discovered that, somehow, I had been put down on the list for two pit tickets. I only had, and only paid for, one. However, I obviously took the two. While I was sitting in line, I called a few friends, who were all super grateful but couldn't come due to the fact that I was asking them with like, 2 hours to go until the doors opened. So, I decided to give it to the girl sitting next to me in line. She offered me money, but I of course didn't take it, because I didn't even pay for the ticket, and she had already paid for one. She did buy me a water though. It was her first time seeing Radiohead and not being on the lawn (she was at camden 08) and guys, she was seriously like on the verge of tears during the show. I was so happy that I got to make that happen for someone, and that the ticket went to someone who really deserved it.
If it weren't for two MAJOR jerkstores late in the set, that might have been my favorite concert of all time.
I was dead center, eye to eye with Thom, maybe 3 people back. THAT setlist was what I was looking for at Bonnaroo (don't whine, they were still my favorite show of the weekend).
Lucky and Like Spinning Plates back to back was absurd. I have been waiting to hear Lucky for what seems like eternity.
And it must be said, that was the most energetic I've ever seen Thom Yorke. He was quacking Mick Jagger out there. Unbelievable. He was feeding off the crowd in a major way, too; taking several moments to just stand on the edge between songs and soak in the love.

I just finished listening to the boot from roo and I must say Idioteque was freaking perfect. I remember thinking it sounded a little off while I was there but nope, it was quacking flawless.

It might prevent them from doing shows where they have to set up the whole stage rig. I don't know how many other free form stages they have next on tour.
Meh, not much of an answer. We already could assume if they were at Third Man then they were recording something.

Probably had a lot to do with how heavy that show must have been for the band.
Shhhhh, quiet, NoD. Who cares if the band, their crew, families and various support staff were working through the emotions of losing one of their own in a devastatingly sudden and unexpected fashion? What matters is that Phi doesn't like that song.

I think Phi was expressing disappointment that Videotape was played live and he was not there to see it.
