Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I would welcome Murs back to farm with open arms. Best Thursday show of '09 no doubt.
I will be the first to admit to not being very well-listened when it comes to this genre, but I know I love his music and I want Busdriver there, and he's working on a new album, so anything is possible.

I think you could have any that have been mentioned so far, a repeat like Kanye, The Roots, or the Beastie Boys, and maybe any of these: Reunions that won't/probably won't happen like The Fugees, Outkast, or A Tribe Called Quest Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, or Q-Tip solo Dr. Dre T.I. Shad Ludacris Blues Scholars House of Pain KRS-1 Drake (Hope not)
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
I think Bonnaroo will keep with past trends and get one main stream rap artists.
2008 - Kanye 2009 - Snoop 2010 - Jay Z 2011 - Eminem
For 2012, it looks like the best bet would be either Ludacris or T.I. I would T.I. better. The other being named on this board are not big enough to be the main rap concert at Bonnaroo.

Flo Rida is another possibility.
On what, exactly, are you basing your belief that Ludacris or T.I. (who is presently in jail) are the "best bets?" Neither plays festivals often, to my knowledge, neither are really known for their live show, and neither are really a "huge" name where they'd be brought in for their popularity, at least not among the more music-aware, festival crowd Bonnaroo brings in. If this was a local radio station's summer hip-hop jam, then yeah both those guys might be likely, but for Bonnaroo, I don't know why they'd be seen as such.
And Flo Rida? Really?
A lot of posters on here are listing Ludacris - that is really the only reason I list him on here.
In the past, Bonnaroo has brought in the most popular hip hop artists, so who is next on the list? I think it might be T.I.
Flo Rida has good party music, he'll come out with some hot new songs this year.
or Tribe. and the ATCQ show I saw two years ago was killer and it could only be better on the What Stage. also the Q-tip solo I've seen both as a dj and performer were sick - totally worth it (but never would HL alone)

Yes, please. I was pumped about BlackStar this year, and then completely bummed when they weren't on the lineup. Honestly, I will not cry if Mos Def is on the farm in any form.
Instead of Flo-Rida, why not just put a synthesizer and auto-tune machine on stage and let each Roo goer scream one nonsensical gibberish statement into the mic? Seriously. Flo-Rida?
Guys like T.I. aren't good unless they're performing in front of a crowd that really wants to see them. T.I. in front of 80,000 people, 15,000 of which actually like him, would be a trainwreck. That, the fact that he's not that great live and the fact that he'll be rusty (jailtime!jailtime!) leads me to say no to him as well.
Kanye is a spectacle. Jay-Z is Jay-Z. If you can get a Watch The Throne headlining show it would be insane. But since I'm a walking jinx, I'll give that a 0% chance of happening so I don't ruin it for everyone hoping that show gets booked.
The Roots, Wu-Massacre (Raekwon, Ghostface, Meth & RZA), Nas, Rakim, (I'll just say "ITM's throwback hip-hop tent" instead of listing all the old acts I'd want to see), Royce and/or Slaughterhouse, OFWGKTA, and Cunninlynguists. Give me any assortment of that list and I'm beyond happy.
Oh, and for the guy who called Juggs an "idiot" and then went on to say Waka Flocka's hypothetical Thursday late-night set would be "insane amounts of fun" needs to re-think their fun scale.
