I couldn't believe how loud it was. My wife and I were walking by it on our way in, I didn't notice the time and BOOM - CUCKOOO CUCKOOO... she dropped her water bottle on the ground and almost jumped into my arms.. hahah.. it was awesome.
I'm surprised to see so many people liked this. I was camped maybe 100 yards from the cuckoo clock - it was amusing on Thursday, and just annoying after that. Annoying in kind of an amusing way, but still. There were two times in particular it really bugged me - once when it went off at like 9:30am (I was already up, but it still too early for cuckoos!), and another time when it drowned out the sound of a show I was at (I forget which one).

I loved it in theory, but the sound was too loud and/or lasted too long. Kinda sucked if you were trying to watch a show at the Other Tent when it went off, because it really disrupted the show.
And I agree that it seemed like it wasn't working properly or was being operated by someone who didn't know what they were doing, or something. Especially on Thursday. At times it seemed to just be going off constantly, and I definitely didn't get the impression that it was going off every hour on the hour or anything. Seemed pretty random.

I'm sorry but I kinda hated it.... but I was in tent only so it was really loud and it always woke me up when I was trying to nap, it was like a giant alarm clock I couldn't shut off! I like the concept though, and I was kind of feeling old and cranky this Bonnaroo so I'm sure that influenced my opinion lol!
I camped in access, and LOVED it. Was it the clock that played the WAKE UP song? First time I heard that was hilarious. It was like 8:30 and I doubt hardly anyone was sleeping at that point thanks to the lovely heat (besides my next door neighbors who had their tents covered in some insulation stuff like the windshield car things AND had some sort of AC rigged in their tent).
Oh, but I had earplugs and was out like a light at night, so I didn't hear it while trying to sleep.
It was kind of like something watching over the campground. I never really found it annoying even though it went off all night long. Being fairly close to it, i found it funny how i could be laying in my tent at 4 or 5am and hear Frank sinatra and various will ferrell quotes.
