Glastonbury 2013

While the line-up for Glastonbury 2013 has not yet been confirmed rumours are rife.
It is being suggested that the Rolling Stones have chosen the festival for their last ever gig and will close the Pyramid stage.
The Stone Roses, Lady Gaga and Radiohead are also on the cards to play.

I'm fairly certain these have been the rumored acts for the last 2 years.

The Stone Roses are headlining Isle of Wight on June 14.

Now we get to wonder if that makes them more or less likely to headline another European festival two weeks later. Discuss*

If you go to the Isle of Wight website it says that The Stone Roses are a exclusive act for UK festivals. So i guess no Glastonbury

And now Bon Jovi has been announced as Isle of Wight's Sunday headliner so I think Glasto is safe there too.... WHEW!

I bought a mega backpack from REI. Put the 4 pound tent in it and started hitting the treadmill.

Rent it. You don't have to rent the whole package. You can get the stuff individually.
We need 2 sleeping bags, an air mattress, and a lantern.

I had just spent a lot of time making my wife's version of this perfect, so mine is a little sloppy....but I'm ok with that for now.

Total newb question regarding this festival. Do you have to camp or is it possible to do hotel, etc? I ask because next year I will be in Madrid for the year and plan on going to Glastonbury 2014. I wont have camping equipment like I would here. Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks.
