Thom Yorke played a surprise set last year and me and Z found out about it when it had started and ran across the festival to the park stage. Singing Radiohead with a ton of drunk Brits was definitely a highlight of the festivals. Wish we would have found out about it earlier, but texting was my only means of communication at the time.
It should be noted early that the surprise guest slots on the Park stage should be mandatory to watch. It's also one of the coolest venues ever at the top of the hill.
We got there late so using my camera was about the only way to see anything on stage.

That radiohead pic came from @buffystar who I met at the #twisto meet up last year and follow on twitter. BBC Glastonbury is blocked at work, so all I can do is check twitter for now.
Most Glastonbury broadcasts get torrented so U2 will be available soon. I will miss all the webcasts of today probably since I am at work for another 4 hours or so. Work blocks most everything, but inforoo has slipped thru the cracks.

I checked a link and Justin Tv has an iphone app so I was about to download it, but it's $13. Nevermind. Justin.tv is blocked at work. One more hour to go here.
LOL! I know....BUT..the last time I was in Europe it was actually an unusual Hot Spell for them at the end of May...temps in the 80s....so MAYBE we will get lucky!
Is it weird that I would take 60's and rainy over 95 and blazing sun all day?
YES!! But if you are a Yankee we will forgive you....the rest of us prefer HOT as Hell and no rain!
Speak for yourself, shug...
I'm a native Southerner and I prefer cold, grey, dreary weather - seriously, I have a Mancunian disposition & translucent Irish complexion, so typical English weather suits me fine! Bring on the 53 degrees & cloudy! I could soooo live there!

So what are you doing in the South again?
And I'd rather have 80 and sunny, but unfortunately that'll likely never happen at Roo. Or Glasto.

LMAO!! I PREFER 70-75 degrees no rain and a bit cloudy personally....BUT given the choice I can deal with heat and humidity better than mud and rain! Have you ever been to Jazz Fest when it rains?? OOOOMMMMMGEEEE! You seriously need major fishing boots to traverse it. And I can only imagine Glastonbury as 100 times worse! I can deal with rain at Roo....I can deal with rain in NOLA...but don't want to be schelping round England in the rain. Been there, done that in Brussels....and was inside for the majority of it!
