Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo in 2013!!
Is the facebook group that was created over a year ago still being used? I looked at it and it didn't seem to be very active. During ticket time FB would be a good way to communicate with everyone. And for me put faces to names since I"m a noob
8 tickets per person. We are going to need buying groups.
I have a PC and a Mac I can hit it with, but they share the same internet connection. I could use the Mac to communicate via FB and the PC to buy the tickets since it's faster.
Whoever gets them, we can send the money PayPal. But we will have to have everyone's registration numbers.
Looks like the deposit will be £50. Someone do the math for me!!
And this blurb is particularly interesting:
"It will not be possible to pay for a ticket in full in October, when only deposits will be taken. This will allow people more time to save for their tickets, knowing that they have secured a booking. It will also help the Festival to reduce costs, allowing us to give more to our joint charities."
The remaining £155 balance will be due in February for us:
"The booking site will then re-open on April 2nd 2013 for UK ticket buyers (February 25th for international buyers), when you will have a week to pay your balance and to book everything else you might need (tipis, campervan tickets, car parking, coach and train travel, cancellation protection etc)."

Looks like the deposit is about 80 USD.
It's cool of them to break it out like that, and with Glasto being what it is in terms of popularity, even if 10-20% of people can't follow through on their deposit, they still keep that $$ and can resell those tickets at full price.
I. LOVE. THE. STONE. ROSES. That would make me happy. sooooo happy.
But seriously - Glasto is "the" festival. There is gonna be a stellar line up regardless of who's touring because don't bands come out and play even if they're not on the road? Just to play Glasto? The amount of stages and the amount of days just warrants lots of acts, and from past lineups, I don't think that Glasto will disappoint. SO EXCITED.

I saw a leaked calender for Polyphonic spree that shows they are playing Bonnaroo, Coachella and Glastonbury among other fests next year.
I am still in and hoping to bring a friend, but that is uncertain. If I am not able to get a ticket I will probably just go to Finland to visit my mom, and maybe hit up Flow Festival.
As far as buying tickets goes, it's best to have everyone's registration numbers available in case someone gets the window open to add them. Just be prepared for an all-nighter. This will be 5x harder and more frustrating than any tickets you've ever purchased.
Don't get your hopes up too high for Daft Punk, just be happy if it happens. That always seems to be a rumor. Stone roses is much more likely. The line-up doesn't really matter.
I'm still in. The deposit thing works really, really well for me. I'm not going to be 100% sure I can go for a while anyway so this will make things much easier
Hey guys, we have about three weeks to get coordinated in our ticket-buying (or deposit) efforts! I figure it's time we get a list together so we will all be prepared when 3am on Oct 7 arrives. I'll be happy to coordinate this list.
Everyone that is trying for tickets and wants to be a part of our group effort, please send me a PM with the following info: Your full name Your registration number Your registered zip code Your registered e-mail address How many $80 deposits you are willing to purchase (you can purchase up to 8) Best mode of communication for the 3am on-sale time on Oct 7 (whether that be IM, google chat, facebook, text message, etc)

bacon, the only problem with a chat room is that it REALLY slows my computer down. And this is one situation where I am not willing for that to happen!

We could set up a facebook group too and that would work just fine. I just think to do this right we need to all be able to communicate with each other at real time. If we have delayed or relayed messages combined with sleep deprivation and stress its going to be bad

Google group chat works pretty well. I will be physically present with Thatmeg and Mr. Thatmeg. JHo, I can put you and Cindy on group phone call on speaker - so we can be verbalizing whats up with each other.
You guys have no idea how jealous I am right now. I'm going to live vicariously through y'all if you don't mind and in 14 years when the last kid is out of my house I will do these fun things too. At least that's my plan! ;D
