Heads up, officially, Bonnaroo's site says what's allowed is a "Camera WITHOUT a detachable lens (detachable lenses shorter than two (2) inches are ok)" or another way to put it, not allowed: "Professional photography equipment or cameras with detachable lenses longer than two (2) inches (point-and-shoots without additional lenses are fine)"
I brought my DSLR (Nikon D7000) last year and just kept it in its case in the trunk and took pictures on the way to Roo, at camp, after Roo, etc. Centeroo, I didnt want to risk it getting lost, dirty, or told I can't take it in by the guy searching me that may not know the rules well...and it'd be heavy to lug around all day. I switched to my point and shoot for Centeroo, though this thread is making me so tempted to get a really nice point and shoot camera. I took too little pictures last year though, somehow. I have to make sure I take enough. I took some pretty decent ones without my DSLR in 2010 and 2011, but I just avoid night shots, especially when it's dusty.
I used my Canon G12 - normally would use a professional DSLR but didn't want to carry it around all weekend, however, I couldn't be happier with the results my G12 produced ;D
I have a G12, too and I'm glad to hear that you couldn't be happier! I was weary to bring it last year because I didn't know what to expect. But definitely bringing it this year and going pic/vid crazy.
I'm definitely bringing my Canon G12 this year - I don't trust myself to bring my DSLR.

As far as battery and memory go --
How many batteries do you bring/ how long does that last you?
Multiple memory cards? -- I'd be bummed if I used up all my memory too early (I prefer not deleting to make room). I have an 8GB now, but I'm thinking of investing in a 16GB as well.
Accessories? Camera straps, monopod or tripod? Does anyone bring these? I would think a monopod would be handy for videos but not that hard to shove in a backpack. Can you get monopods into Centeroo? (I would think so bc people bring in the poles for flags, etc)
I'm a photo nerd and want to be prepared to capture all the glorious photo moments!
