They're doing a LN set here in Calgary this summer which set my brain on that path. They could probably give the first band a 12:15-2:00 slot and then the closer 2:30-??? That would be great by me!

Jacketman, I think at least a couple of those you listed would be Thursday bands. Though I did see Avi Buffalo open for Modest Mouse last year and enjoyed them enough where I'd catch them again.

Which Friday: Hippie Jam Band (TAB, Yonder or the likes) Which Saturday: Deadmau5
some of this I like, such as Friday which sounds awesome. Saturday seems completely unnecessary - esp since Wiz won't be back so quick or be demoted to a Tent. and I will always say no to MIA and Bisco......
Deadmau5 wouldn't be so awesome out in the Which wide open field but I could be wrong ... has their been a significant EDM act except for Thievery (which I missed) on the which?
Friday Which - The Roots This - Cut Copy > MSTRKRFT That - Yeasayer > Ghostland Observatory The Other - Ghostface Killah > Mastodon

demoted? Daytime What, to LN closer would be a huge promotion, one that Wiz is nowhere near deserving of.

Saturday: Which- the Roots This- Ratatat > Zoogma That- Tiesto > Steve Aoki The Other- EOTO > Perpetual Groove
i honestly just want to see someone fist fucked in a Planet of the Apes mask again (like SCI 2011)
They're on a world tour and have dates set until April 2012. I could see them play Bonnaroo Late Night.
That would be cool. Perhaps sharing a tent with another cover band? Or a psychedelic rock type band. Tame Impala? Even something like M83 would be cool.
Prince Daft Punk David Bowie Black Sabbath Rob Zombie Skrillex Deadmau5 Tiesto Steve Aoki Major Lazer Rusko PGroove Zoogma Silas Reed N Da Books (PLEASE!)

I don't see the appeal in a late night Wiz show? I doubt that's a good move + giving him a Daytime What on Saturday isn't small change, MMJ's first time was this year.
I'm tryin to think of LN Which acts and can't really think of many that would be possible.
The Flips (probably not but Roo is not afraid to book back soon) Massive Attack (unlikely) Portishead (unlikely) The Roots ( I see this happening) Daft Punk (unlikely and would be on What) Ratdog (possible if Furthur is not touring) Animal Collective (Which or This Tent? IDK but possible) Widespread Panic (maybe but again really?, never had Which LN tho) MMJ (I wouldn't complain but unlikely) Allman Brothers (they could play for 4 hours I they wanted to) Wilco (more pre headlining act) Chemical Brothers (dnot know how possible this would be) Queens of the Stone Age (possible I guess and would be a huge get for the festival IMO) Modest Mouse (if they drop new album)
Probably left some acts off but most of the acts I consider LN Which worthy don't seem like they would happen. I bet we do get The Roots though and something totally out of left field which could be awful or great

There are a shit-ton of bands that could do LN Which. I think the range of possible bands is pretty vast, probably 10x more so than who could headline. This is by no means any extensive list, but just to add to your list: A perfect circle Umphrees mcgee Deadmau5 Prodigy Underworld Black Eyed Peas (this isn't a wishlist, just sayin) Wu-tang Ludacris Snoop further or any dead member Trey Anastasio band Death Cab for Cutie Phoenix Passion Pit Rush
And that's just off the top of my head
And I'm not saying any are likely or obvious LN Which slots, but they're all possible
I agree with Laggy. Also why would you say that Portishead and Massive Attack are unlikely? If they are touring, which is within the realm of possibilities, then I would say that they are quite likely to at least be considered/ contacted.
I would also add Bjork, who has been mentioned quite a bit as a LN contender, and Soundgarden should they stretch their tour out to next summer
