I have had a horrible case of the RooBlues this year. I think I had a bit of a stomach bug while I was at the farm which kept me from enjoying it the way I wanted to. Then I get home and remember I'm pretty much fed up with most everyone in my life and the situation I'm in. My attitude has been horrible and it's still not better. Knowing I can't do Allgood or any other fests this year isn't helping my shitastic attitude either. I just want to go back to the farm and forget how much life sucks at the moment!

I definitely had some post-Roo depression this year, which was increased by the fact that I got really sick the day after I got home! I kept my hippie beads and wristband on for 3 days after I got home, lol. I've coped by scoping out other festies I can go to (I'm severely bummed I can't go to All Good, but I'm thinking about volunteering at FloydFest), volunteering for local fests, and by enjoying my lovely tan!
KrunchyKat - I feel ya, I'm stuck in a job I hate right now but can't really do anything about it, so I was not excited to come back to it. Roo was a welcome break!

After roo I just want to do more, be outside more and listen/dance to music more. All my friends here are lame though. They only want to sit home and do nothing. I need more roo friends for sure and more money to attend festivals. More more more!

This ^^^ for sure! Heading to WV to see my Grandparents and stay in their log home on the lake this weekend with my brothers and my dad who I rarely see. I am planning a camping trip for 6 of us next month along the shore of the Chesapeake Bay, got a fishing/crabbing license for the first time in my adult life, bought tickets to MMJ in August, Explosions in the Sky, Fleet Foxes, Bob Dylan and Ray La Montagne are also on the tentative agenda between now and the end of September. I need a second job and more paid leave.
