Jabba the Hutt under the English flag (white with red cross...not the Union Jack that os the British flag). Visit!!! We have tons of alcohol to share.
Hey we had the camp right next door. . . not sure if it was you, but I thanked some girl for her England flag and it helping me get home every night !! Think guy said it was Han solo, but could have been on the line . . . . West 2nd st. between 7th and 8th St.
We were so damn far away in Camp Cleveland Brown on the far side of Pod 11. It was a hike just down to the showers, ice & tents in our pod area.
We (me, Jury, and our Cheyenne) were in Clevland Brown as well! Literally right near the corner of Hidden Glenn and Houston. We were only two cars away from the road on like either side.
That damn walk can bite me. I would have killed to have been in 007 over this. My dogs are still barkin'! That walk was killer! If I can go next year I think I'ma just do Camp Inforoo!
And I agree with Lono. If you're put out that far at least give out like two tickets/coupons fer free taxi rides or somethin'. Paid fer my first taxi ride this year, but I honestly didn't feel it was worth it. Plus they're so damn hard to get a hold of!
We must have been near you - is Hidden Glen the next road up from Commerce (where the Porta-potties were)? I know Houston was the one that ran down next to us but I never noticed the road that was directly in front of us. If you walked up from the portas (towards the houses) and came to that next intersection we were to the left, 3 cars in. There was a big black truck on the end, a silver mini van then us - we had a big red truck.
Maybe it's because it was my first time and I don't know any different, but I don't think the walk was THAT awful. (I was right at the pod 10 balloon) I wore either Sanuks or Crocs and my feet rarely bothered me. At first I thought it was walking with friends that made it ok, but they went back to camp hours before me most nights, and even walking it alone was fun for me. I guess I was caught up in the atmosphere.. because when we left Sun night, my legs seriously did not work right.

Yeah, it was Han Solo...for someone that makes maps as a part of my job I am terrible at reading them. I was the girl you thanked...glad it helped you out! Like I said, my map skills are so lacking I definitely needed it myself.
The geo-dome looked awesome! What was the set-up and take down time on that?
It took us about 4.5 hours to set up (mostly our friend Nick who built it and my best friend Joe putting it up, I helped some by holding it up) the takedown was only about an hour or so easy easy. it stayed nice and cool during the day with the tapestries hanging over it and was excellent for people watching. we could sit on top of it and see the main stage, which was cool too.

Naw, Hidden Glenn crossed both Commerce and Houston. The portos were right along the edge of Commerce and Hidden Glenn. We had to be right near each other though!
Getting a hold of those things to camp sucked. It seemed alot of cab drivers were reluctant to go to Pod 11.
If I ever could've found one near Centeroo I would've definitely taken one on Saturday or Sunday night, seven bucks for 2 miles seems pretty fair, but I would always see free seats when I was already halfway back to North BFE

We were in POD 4, access camp, about 50 feet from the base of the clock tower. Had the large pineapple as our mascot. Yes it was awesome to be so close and anytime we wanted, we headed back to camp for a rest...but... the clock tower was LOUD! At 3AM it would start blaring nonsense and if I had a pea shooter.. I would have shot it!

OMG! I know! It was ridiculously loud!
Sunday night you probably heard me yelling at 3am to "SHUT THE EFF UP!!!" Whew! Brilliant idea on Roo's part? Meh, not so much!
See I actually liked the walk in through Shakedown. But when I was headin' back...not so much. I guess on the way once I reached Shakedown I was just thinkin', "Yes! Almost there!"
Camp Peter Griffin. Having no dust issues was great but the walk sucked.
So when did you arrive?? I would like to try to avoid being this far away next year. Thanks!
We got in line about 11:30 Wednesday night and didn't start setting up camp till 6am. I think we had the longest time in line than just about anyone else I talked to. At least we didn't have to wait in line in the sun and heat! As for when to arrive it's all a crap shoot. It doesn't really make any difference.
Pod 2, Camp George McFly. I got in line at 9:10 Wed. night, was parked by 11. Figured I was going to be much farther away, but we got lucky I guess. Our side had a Georgia Tech flag on the EZ-UP, and we were next to a big party group with a BLUNT flag above their site.
I loved the location, but I did not like being right on the road with all of the dust.

R2D2 with xJenNJuicex. enjoyed being so close to centeroo and water, but i did miss the daily walks through shakedown. We only waited in line like maybe 20 mintues to get in (4:20am).
