my entire group will be at black keys. i think i might be able to get them to leave a little early.
i cant bring myself to missing the keys, i think i can live with leaving 15 minutes early
I'm in this boat as well. My GF will flip her Leno at the idea of missing more than 20 minutes of Black Keys. Even those 20 minutes are going to cost me 2 scalped tickets in Calgary 2 weeks after Roo. I plan on staying to the right for the Keys so our path to the Which is a little easier. I also have a feeling thousands of other people are thinking the same thing.
Where will most of you folk be camping out? I'm more than likely going to be right along the soundboard on the right side of Which.
I was planning on being in the bleachers but I can be detoured otherwise.
Oh you're doing VIP this year? Cool. Well yeah, if you folks can't get into the bleachers, the right side of the soundboard is pretty much the best place to catch a show at Which.
Yeah all the cool kids will be there I am sure even the Black Keys would respect our desire to sit up front for Neil. They are just lucky though they can walk behind the stages and sit on the side of the stage an watch it if they want.

So we need to make a meet up spot for after Mumford right after everyone hightails it to the Keys. Then we can take up a more prime spot. I say we meet up by that beer stand up front of the stage say to the right or left it makes no difference then we can get organized from there based upon crowd size. We will have what like an hour and a half to hang. Then from there we can help each other hold spots on the rail etc. cause by that time people will need to hit the porto's get a beer etc.

I think we luck out that Mumford and Sons is on the same stage an hour and a half before and the Black Keys are on the What Stage right before. There will be a lot of people camped out at the front of Which for Mumford; a lot of these people will probably really want to see the Black Keys and will be migrating from Which to What. This possibly leaves a good opportunity to get pretty close to the stage if you're willing to wait it out for an hour and a half.
Im in this campout for the long haul. The full hour and a half I will probably hang at the back of Mumford or as chance dictates. usually if I am going to be hemmed in I know at a certain time the time around that I like to have so that I can free float a bit to make up for the later restriction. Might hang there for a bit after it is over. If it is as packed as predicted I have no desire to try and get down super close for Eminem unless the spirit moves me in the heat etc. We should also have shade by that time of the day for our wait. I will gauge it I think Primus is playing the same time the day before I will be scoping out shade and balance that with the immediacy of getting close versus the amount of campers for Neil.

The best part about camping out for BS is that you really are only missing one band. As much as I dislike the schedule, this is definitely a plus, and makes the decision to camp out a lot easier.
I am trying to get on the rail. Not the soundboard area that is to far back for me. I just want to know who else is likeminded. Missing the keys should have its rewards when everyone floods that area after there show. And I will be posted up leaning on the rail to conserve strength etc. It is nice after a long day in centeroo to have anything to rest your back against. Might even try and take a cat nap depending on the environment and or company there. It ill help up my energy level for the show.

so I thought the left of the soundboard was the traditional Inforoo meetup? and you guys are going to be on the right for BS?
This is a CANNOT Miss show for me.
While I want to be front and center I can be ok with left of the soundboard but I think our hero will be playing on the right. I may be very very wrong in this assumption though.

That's what I plan on doing too. No way the Black Keys top last years show so I'll skip it to find a good spot for BS...hopefully along the rail.

I was going to start my campout during Old Crow. But, the friend I'm going with is a big fan of Scrubs so i told him I'd go with him to the movie thing. That will end during Allison Krauss' set. I figure between an hour of her, Mumford, and the breaks in between, I should be plenty close for the Buffalo.
Only reason I choose the right side of the soundboard as compared to the left is that the left side of Which usually gets far more crowded than the right.
