I think they would be a good late night or which stage closer option.
i think they would have to be what stage closers, they could easily draw too big a crowd for the which stage. imho. i think they would draw an equal amount of people that mumford did last year, and with that crowd there i think we can agree mumford should have played the what stage last year.
So far the Red Hot Chili Peppers have not announced anything in early June (they have for late June though). What about Jane's Addiction, or would Perry keep them for Lolla?
RHCP is a lock in my book. They did a warmup tour in Europe for this new album and they are going to hit the US hard next year. Love or hate their live show, whether or not Fruiscante is with them, they fit the mold.

as much as the fruiscante days are missed, i doubt anybody would not enjoy the performance. i think RHCP will be a winner any way you look at it. i may have preferred to see them years ago but the facts are i couldnt, so but i'll take what i can get. at some point in their career they WILL play bonnaroo. why wouldnt they? i will be welcoming them with a bright attitude and a lighter when they do.

I think that RHCP will be the shared headliner at many music festivals this summer. Plus regardless if this board likes them, I think they would be a huge draw for the Bonnaroo demographic. They are easily a band that "everybody" loves. Can't you picture the masses screaming "Giveitaway Giveitaway Giveitaway Now!"

no thanks to cold war kids. hated seeing them open for foo fighters. thought it was pretty cool though when their drummer had something happen like an emergency instead of them not playing, dave grohl jumped on drums and they still played an opening set. i think that lineup you got there looks realistic.
