Some other wishes for 2012 that are possible: Fleet Foxes, Phantogram, Odd Future, Animal Collective, The Kills, The Shins, Bon Iver, Band of Horses, moe., Bright Eyes, Andrew Bird, Crystal Castles, M83, The Chemical Brothers, TV On The Radio, Modest Mouse, Two Door Cinema Club, Plump DJs, Queens of the Stone Age, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Buffalo Killers, Yuck, Noah and the Whale.
i could actually see about half of these happening. m83 and crystal castles are playing moogfest. bon iver, tv on the radio, yuck, and fleet foxes are going to have a good year leading to 2012. modest mouse and qotsa both need to make an appearance on the farm @ least once.
i know it's been mentioned but the fact that glastonbury isn't going on next year could mean some epic things for roo 2012.
I'd like to see The Roots get the same deal as Gogol Bordello got. A late night set and their own stage that Questlove can curate and pick bands to play during the day and stuff.
I've been asking for this for fucking years. Let them pick arists for the day (kind of how they do for the Roots picnic), then give them a 4-hour late night jam session where they can do whatever the hell they want. They've put on ridiculous star-studded jam sessions before (the Grammy jams, their run at Radio City a couple years ago), let them do it at Bonnaroo.
?uestlove has already been part of the greatest 'roo Superjam ever. He can't do another. It would pale by comparison.

First, the Led Zeppelin themed SuperJam wasn't that great. For starters, they needed to turn the sound up in that bitch, because it was too quiet.
Second, who said anything about a SuperJam? I want a Roots late night throwdown with guests, like they've done at Radio City, the Black Lily, the Grammy Jam, Roots Picnic, etc. Nobody said shiz about the SuperJam, I'm talking about real music here, not a bunch of randoms from moe., Bisco and Umphrey's playing half-assed covers of New Orleans funk jams. and shiz
I know I already posted what I thought the top 25 acts might look like next year but I get bored at work so here is next year's initial lineup. I switched up from my previous post. This is just what I could see it being and Im gonna be wishful with some of the acts. I like a lot of these acts but not all of them. So this is not completely a wish list.
