This is crazy. Also, if there is no extraordinary saturday headliner and it's the beach boys I apologize for instilling any false hope. Either way I'm so pumped!
I feel like if anything they would have Beach Boys play and then Phish play late night (assuming some big 4th act fell through or something).

I'm honestly shocked by how shocked everyone was by the Beach Boys Grammy performance... and, honestly, they'll be 1 of 100 on what is shaping up to be a stellar lineup!

so wait, Ludacris isn't big enough to be a 4th headliner is he? sorry if that sounds ignorant, but does anyone think he might be top 4? or top 6? i certainly hope not, but i have a hard time figuring out how popular mainstream rappers are these days

From the Beach Boys image description on the knoxville.com page, they don't say the Beach Boys are headlining (like they do for Phish and Radiohead). They say they are "performing."

I highly doubt he will be in the top 6. He's known for his acting more than his rapping nowadays.

He's not. He's top 12, not top 4. Maybe 5 or 6 years ago he'd be higher up the list, but he hasn't had a hit in a few years and has only done guest spots (albeit on some big songs -- All I Do Is Win, Country Sh!t, etc).
Edit: and his show would be awesome. "What's Your Fantasy" would go over like nothing else.
Edit 2: I guess he did have "How Low", but that was late 09, early 10.

let's put it this way... He played my school 2 years ago. Other acts we've had: Boys Like Girls, Jay Sean, Gym Class Heroes.... yeah If we hold him by the standards of Springfield College, he's not big enough to be top 15
