We’ve struggled to keep our plans for the 11th annual Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, June 7-10, 2012 a secret — but don’t worry, we’re about to spill.
It’s a tough task, topping previous year’s performances, shenanigans and surprises every single time. But miraculously, we manage. See for yourself next week, when we announce our big plans for the festival in 2012.
So until then, check out the brand-new Bonnaroo.com. It’s just as informative, but it’s also easier to navigate and, let’s be honest, a little better looking.
This concludes an announcement about another, forthcoming announcement. Sorry. Like we said, we can barely contain our excitement.
I see that now... thanks for putting me in my quacking place
I apologize for crushing your dreams
I just like to kill off any talk of "rumors" when I see them and know they aren't true. Hopefully some other acts you love are on the lineup.
I understand, and it's not really even a dream, would just love to see them on the farm. Also didn't realize there was a confirmation from their agent/manager... whatever. I checked the thread (confirmation thread) after you made me feel like a dick. I apologize and understand a need to squash rumors/talk... Man, you guys are a tough crowd to mingle with.
DMB was billed first in 2010, both acts are managed by the person who owns the land Bonnaroo is held on. They might not be first but I would not really discount the possibility.
Radiohead already got billed 1st once before and they have a new album out. Phish got billed 2nd before. Okay Bruce was there that year, but with Radiohead only playing Coachella it would be Radiohead billed over Phish like in 2009.
It could happen, I just don't see Phish being billed over Radiohead.
I Europe Radiohead would always win, in the US they are popular, but certainly not a Springsteen level act or anything.
I find the background color scheme to be very calming. Like The Word just finished a sunrise set and i'm wandering aimlessly with a melted brain trying to find my campsite.

By all means, continue to dream.
It's just that people will make up rumors based on nothing and then more and more people start to expect it and then there's huge disappointment when it doesn't come true. One of the reasons that 2010's lineup was initially hated (besides the way they released the acts) was because there were huge Neil Young rumors that never came true so a ton of people were disappointed (even though there were fantastic acts on the lineup).

I'm talking about US. In Europe Phish won't headline/play festivals.

im not sure they arent on the Springsteen level in the US, at least in the festival scene. Theres not many bands I can see being billed above Radiohead.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
The crowd that was at Mumford last year. Bonnaroo's twitter saying "so yall like Mumford, huh?" right after they played. It kind of felt like they knew they could be a headliner. At least thats how I felt. Anways moving on. I just wanted to see them again. Can't wait for the lineup.
