How about they mix it up and put radiohead on Sunday. They have to be the most wanted band and the best way to keep people around all day Sunday.
I think the intentionally put a jam band Sunday knowing that a good amount of people will leave which alleviates some of the traffic issues of everyone leaving at the same time. I for one always seem to leave before the closer on Sunday, because of work schedules, being exhausted, and not being the biggest fan of jam bands.
Its not the same as when everyone arrives because they don't have to search cars, but it would be a huge cluster if all 70,000+ tried to leave after Radiohead.

Honestly 30% of the people are leaving Sunday afternoon regardless of who closes, Radiohead, Phish, or RHCP. People just have work the next day.

This is very true. But not for me this year, I got Monday off!

One of the many benefits of being in the Marines. Also, Alabama Shakes are on Conan tonight. My mom and stepdad are both there; super excited to see the Shakes tonight. Check it out guys. You shouldn't be disappointed. Brittany Howard will hypnotize your ears.

I always assumed they put the jamband headliner on sunday because hippies don't have jobs.

Actually it is because College students don't have class. Phish has a different demographic though.
Is Phis a different demographic from Widespread Panic?? I am waiting to see if Phish is playing another show besides Sunday before I hit up your "something Phishy" post.
I would love to stay for the closer Sunday and camp Sunday night but I just never have time. My travel consists of driving back to Michigan late Sunday into Monday morning, racing to the airport for an afternoon flight back to Austin where I live, getting into Austin later Monday night so I can work Tuesday. Sucks..... But well worth it.
I might have to leave early for the first time ever this year, and I am not excited about it at all. I love sitting at camp on sunday night with a beer and just thinking about the weekend. I will probably call in sick to work if they won't give me the time off.
Never made it till Sunday night. Not by choice, but because my friends/ex's wanted to leave. In 07 my ex-gf made me miss the White Stripes. She said "you'll see them again."

I'm guessing since we didn't get the line-up announcement email today that we'll get it tomorrow. They wouldn't wait to release it on the 21st would they?

Are they traditionally a week after Hangout? I've never payed attention to Hangout's announcements. You would think Bonnaroo would want to release it next week since Hangout is competing in the same region as Roo.
I'm pretty sure it'll be the 14th or 15th. Roo tells management companies dates like that so they can plan tour announcements around it. Also last year we got the email on the Wednesday before the Tuesday release. I bet we get an email today or tomorrow, lineup on the 14th or 15th.

As a Browns fan, I am fully qualified to have unreasonable expectations regarding Daft Punk playing while suffering only minor let down when they aren't in the lineup.... so, Daft Punk will be on the farm in June 12!!!
