Funny I just saw this because I've had 2 Bonnaroo dreams in 2 nights.
The other night I dreamed I was on the farm and it was already saturday and I had yet to make it to centerroo because most of my campmates did nothing but stay at camp all day. I knew a few others were in center, but I didn't know where they were exactly. Finally I said screw it I'm RUNNING FULL SPEED to center to see some shows. About the time I got close to the arch, I woke up...
Last night I dreamed we flew and drove long distances to get to bonnaroo and yet I somehow just ended up back in my hometown picking up more people. Then everyone said they had booked a hotel (hotel??) for 9 nights starting on tuesday. That's about all I remember, but I seriously woke up in a haze thinking for 10 minutes my gf had really booked a hotel for bonnaroo.
I find bonnaroo dreams to be much like wet dreams, there's a lot of time getting to the act of seeing shows/sex, but I always wake up before the good part.

I had one the other night...nothing major, just sitting in my camp chair, sun shining, breeze blowing, glass of wine in hand. It was a really peaceful, pleasant feeling. Then this weekend we went to Boston and grabbed all our camping gear out of storage...my Roo bins are still covered in dust and it made me a little sad to miss things this year, but a lot psyched for next year!
I've had many Bonnaroo dreams, usually in the weeks following the festival, but the most recent was unique. I'm a Walt Disney World fan as well, my gf and I visit many times every year. While we are there, we engage in the nerdy hobby of Disney pin trading. So last week, after a trip to WDW, I dreamt I was in the front row of What sitting against the railing. Rather than standing room in the pit, there were rows upon rows of metal folding chairs. People around me were dressed in everything from ball gowns to tee shirts. We were all eagerly awaiting a band that would soon take the stage which I believe was to be George Clinton. As we waited, there were friendly Roo staffers along the railing wearing pin trading lanyards. Everyone was trading special Bonnaroo pins! The pins themselves were familiar Roo shapes such as logos and the arch as well as artist pins. I awoke before I my dreamself got a chance to see George but the pins were just as interesting. The dream combined two things that make me incredibly happy into one. Pin trading at Bonnarroo for me would be like George Costanza eating a sandwich during sex.
I actually had my first Bonnaroo dream of the year the other night. Nothing too special, but it was the first of hopefully many.
I went to check out Baroness, and they were opening up one of the tents on Sunday. Needless to say with that timeslot, the crowd was pretty sparse. So after the show they all came down and talked with us and just hung out in the crowd. Don't remember much past that besides me telling them how happy I was that they were all alive and still able to pursue their passion for music.
For those that don't know, they all survived a horrific bus accident in England last summer. On a steep 12% grade hill, their brakes failed and they careened out of control. After snapping through dozens of trees, they free fell 30 feet off a viaduct. A month or two after, the lead singer of the band wrote this amazing letter to the fans. Even if you have no idea who Baroness is, give that letter a read, it's pretty intense.
Looking back, I guess that was a pretty crappy dream...but oh well...I'm getting excited already!

Long-belated update: This Bonnaroo dream came true - somewhat - last year! I procured a large amount of pins (mostly Alice in Wonderland characters) at WDW prior to Roo and brought a bunch of Easter eggs along as well. I would put a pin and a handwritten note in an egg, then drop it somewhere around the campgrounds or Centeroo. I wound up dropping around 30 eggs from Thurs-Sun, though some were handed out personally as well. On Sunday afternoon, just before Bon Iver, I was heading back to camp for a tic and passed a guy holding up a small pinboard full of awesome pins. After stopping and chatting, I discovered they were custom Phish pins which he created and was selling. As a casual Phish fan, I was oblivious of their pin market. Nevertheless, I traded him a Cheshire Cat pin (which you can only get at the parks) for a Bathtub Gin pin (which he had made) by the time we parted ways. So my dream of sharing pin love spilled over into the malleable reality of Bonnaroo; the events happened not exactly as I dreamed but close enough to remember that the worlds of sleep and wake are not too far apart. So of course this year I will again be leaving pin surprises around the beautiful, filthy farm where dreams come true...

I dont really remember my dreams well but I did have a Bonnaroo one where it was at a different place. We knew the person doing parking and we had been forced into BFE but this person allowed us to go right up next to Centeroo. The shows were held in buildings instead of tents and the first show we went to, my friend went on stage and pushed the lead singer down who was a women. She started barating us so we just left. There was more too it after that but I dont remember anything. It was an awkward dream.
Turtles are, actually quite sexy, if you think about it. I’m getting an erection just thinking about turtles. No, not a stripper named turtles, that’s not funny. Actual turtles.

I would over to go into detail about the thousands of dreams I have had about Bonnaroo but I'm on my phone and can't type that darn much. The only thing I can tell you is that every time I woke I would cry a little knowing I wasn't really there. "The waiting is the hardest part". I miss my Roo family every minute I'm away.
I always just have dreams that I get stuck doing some super important thing that makes me late for 'Roo and by the time I get there it's Sunday evening and I've missed everything.

I rarely remember my dreams. This is the first year (#3) I've had Bonnaroo dreams. All of them seem to be centered around being lost and realizing I've been there for several days and haven't seen a single band. WTF have I been doing all this time?!?!?!
EDIT: Year #3, originally said #2. I know you all care!
I used to have these dreams... that were all very similar. The setting was always the same... a hybrid of the Bonnaroo grounds in Manchester, and my old farm home in Adairville, KY. Instead of tents, concerts were held in renovated barns with seating and standing areas, if you'd like. There were stages, but I only ever walked by them, they seemed pretty identical to What and Which, but there was a third that was about the same size as Which. I always thought that what I saw in my dream was the coolest fest layout I'd ever seen.

Not to derail this thread but Bishop every time I see your avatar I can't help but think of a passage from my favorite story in Hunter Thompson's "Songs of the Doomed"
"I sawed the head off the pig around midnight. Loyd had it stored in the meat locker at the lodge, planning to marinate it for a big barbecue for his friends on Sunday, with the head as the main piece of art. I chopped it off with a meat saw in forty-five seconds, and it took about forty-five more to put the lipstick on. The tube broke, so i had to do it by hand, rubbing a lump of red lipstick around that dead thing's gums like I was waxing up some kind of dummy...And meanwhile his wife was asleep in the next room, ten feet away, and then the head wouldn't sit right in the bowl so I had to jerk it up by the ears and jam it back in proper position. And I also had to prop the eyes open, so they would be looking straight up at him...All this took about ninety more seconds, sneaking into his home and putting a pig's head in his toilet."

woke up a few hours ago after spending the entire night tossing and turning with bonnaroo dreams. most of my time in this dream was spent in walmart searching for something, and then the rest seemed to be searching for friends in center, and unsuccessfully trying to make my way closer to the stage... then bonnaroo would be over and i had to clean up our campsite, and then i would wake up, but still not be awake enough to realize it was a dream, and i just immediately got really sad that bonnaroo was over already, and i would fall back asleep to enjoy just a little more of too, and the cycle would repeat. it wasn't until i actually woke up for the day when i realized that bonnaroo hadn't happened yet and i was actually so relieved that i talked aloud to myself about it.

Just woke up from a roo dream. I had dreamed that I was watching one of the stages from a distance and smoking a bowl with some people I had meet around me. The band was good and I had meet some really cool people... til one of them stole the weed I brought!
