This thing reminded me that Mavis Staples is on the poster. How cool, she's probably way to good to be heading up the middle of the pack but that's what makes Bonnaroo great.
I didn't even notice her name or make the connection when I first read the lineup. I have to give the Discovery thing credit for helping me figure it out. Really looking forward to hearing her.

I feel like it's probably not a great representation yet. It's only been up for a few days, so only the people who frequent the Bonnaroo website or Inforoo have used it yet. Most of the casual attendees probably haven't utilized it yet, which reflects Eminem's poor standing, despite the fact that I'm sure his show will be the most-packed of the weekend.
Whenever the schedule drops, that's when it will become more representative I think. Also, hippies don't use technology, which explains Widespread Panic's poor showing.
I'm happy to see Buffalo Springfield doing so well, for some reason I thought they may be overlooked by people.
I was underwhelmed at first. They're a throwback with a small body of work that's mostly famous for what its members did later in their career. Then I thought about how rare it is for them to play together. Hearing them update their old songs with years of added experience and skill should be interesting. A recent Fish Taco show convinced me that some of these California hippie bands are better now than they were back in the day.
